Gearhart is a beautiful and quiet town. Celebrating our mothers 70th birthday required something special, something completely her — Gin Ridge was the answer. Tastefully decorated but with so much character. The photos don’t do it justice. Comfortable beds, classic, beautiful, unstuffy decor, a well appointed kitchen and a beautiful deck with the nicest peekaboo view I could imagine. On a nice day, lunch at the mcmennamins was totally walking distance along the beach.
A 1910 home can be expected to have don’t issues. There was one clogged toilet, but with three bathrooms - it didn’t actually cause a huge issue to just use the other two and not overload the downstairs toilet. I think we just flushed it too many times in a row since it was the downstairs toilet folks used while hanging out. I wonder if a “if it’s yellow, let it mellow” sign might be a good idea to avoid this in the future?
So even with that - we’d 100% come back. Replies from management were prompt and direct. Perfect weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed Gin Ridge.
