"This used to be a hunting lodge so it looks exactly like a lodge, with lots of wood. It is by the loch with a magnificent view from the restaurant terrace. Unfortunately no lift to go upstairs so it was a bit difficult for my wife. The restaurant food was good but seemed pre-prepared so they can’t adjust the dishes. "Incredibly beautiful property. Appears to be recently renovated as everything was updated and gorgeous. The staff were very kind and helpful. Recommendation was made for a restaurant: Roam West, which is just up the road. Don’t look anywhere else for dinner. I had the best steamed mussels of anywhere I’ve eaten and my wife had an incredible fish and chips. This house is wonderful, just a short drive from Fort Mason"

"Our hosts took such good care of us, arriving on a wet wet day they prepared the hot tub for us, organised a late dinner at most excellent pub in walking distance through wonderful countryside for delightful delicious home cooked food . Sleep was very comfortable and breakfast a knock out in presentation and selection. "

"We can’t say enough about our stay here. The owners were two of the most hospitable hosts we’ve ever had. It felt like we were friends who had come for a visit after not seeing each other for many years. Food was great! The room was sweet and comfortable. We loved our stay and will plan on returning when we’re next ‘across the pond.’ When we were leaving, the owner came hurrying out to wave goodbye to us as we were pulling out of the driveway.
