The Pitter Patter of little feet
Not a bad place, but: - the kid upstairs drums on the floor all day - the shower is old, tired and SLIPPERY! - the lack of adjacent parking is a PITA - the fridge drips condensate on your food - the bed is old and tired And BTW: there are no views except a tiny sliver of the harbor (at high tide) or mudflats at low tide.

Cute little place to stay
Cute little place to stay! Super clean and everything you need. Street parking was weird but we figured it out. You could hear the upstairs people’s foot steps but no worse than being in an apartment. There’s a fan in the closet that is loud enough for white noise. I would recommend maybe some curtains because light still gets through and brightens up the place in the morning. Overall my cousin and I enjoyed our stay and were very happy.

Stay was okay, not great
Very clean. Well supplied kitchen. Slippery dark driveway on a hill, not great for arrival after dark in the winter; not salted or cleared. Water in shower only warm, doesn’t get hot; not great in winter after being outside. A lot of loud pounding and banging above in the daytime, assuming children live upstairs; not loud at night though. Very bright Christmas lights outside the bedroom window made it hard to sleep. I asked that they be turned off and was told they would be. They were not. The second night I went and unplugged them myself. The location is great, walkable to the shopping area.

"The Nest" was a most comfortable "home away from home" in Gig Harbor
All features of this guesthouse--the location, the accommodations, the amenities--helped us make the most of our 8-day visit as "temporary residents" of Gig Harbor! The living spaces and fully-equipped kitchen provided much more flexibility than a hotel. The other permanent residents of this property (two families) were friendly and welcoming too. We would happily return to "The Nest" and recommend other travelers to check it out as well!

Amazing view!
We had a nice stay! Perfect location for us as we were visiting family that lives a couple streets down. Nice and cute place! Comfortable environment, nice kitchenette, nice furniture, relaxing colors and nice light fixtures, etc. The couche could be upgraded to something more comfortable. The bed definitely needs updating. A washer and dryer available for use which is nice - 2 laundry pods were provided. Dishwasher available - 1 pod provided Amazing view!! The only suggestion would be replacing the bed. Communication through the app was great, a code at the door instead of a key was really nice to not have to worry about who has the keys.. Very clean! Thank you for giving us a great stay at Gig Harbor. Merry Christmas!

Very clean and good location
My only criticism would be the noise from upstairs but I knew that going in from other reviews. The kids up there quieted down by 9-9:30 and didn’t get up til 8 so it was fine for me :) otherwise a great stay.

Basement Below Children
No parking. You have to park on the street. And walk up stairs to reach the unit. There is a family with young children living above the unit. The children run amuck starting at 6am. You will hear yelling, crying, banging, and noises that make you want to call Child Protection Services. The unit itself is very small. The cave of a bedroom has a very uncomfortable bed. You'll spend the entire night listening to all the movements upstairs. The very small "kitchen" is unusable for any kind of meal preparation. The electric stove showed signs of use, and was not clean. There was insufficient cooking untinsils. It appears the owners took the gardener's living quarters for this entire apartment building and tried to turn it into a VRBO. Be warned that they failed to convert this space into anything resembling a vacation condo.

Modern and convenient property in Gig Harbor. The only two challenges were the cleanliness of the floors and the noise from the upstairs unit.

Beautiful little place. Very comfy. Parking was off the street due to tenants moving.
Only drawback was lack of privacy due to other tenants walking by frequently so had to keep curtains closed much of the time. Beautiful view and amenities. Really great bed.
