There has been some very nice upgrades since our last stay. We absolutely love this location. Very secluded and so cozy. We’ve only been here in winter but would love to come when the snow is gone so we can see the unique property decorations.

TRANQUILITY
All you need for a relaxing reprise. In the middle of nowhere which I love. I had my morning coffee's (5 cups) in the meadow/lawn looking out over nature with the silence of gentle noisy nature. * * * * * * * * * * 10 Stars LOL - Actually, it sucked LOL (I want to make sure it doesn't get booked when we want to go again)

Our stay at Joe’s cabin was absolutely perfect. The cabin is clean and is so well decorated. Joe was even kind enough to reach out and send us some recommendations on events going on in town the weekend we were here. Stays like this are why I always choose home rentals over a hotel

Quiet, remote getaway
It was a really cool getaway. Close enough to a country store to not feel stranded but far enough to feel restored. The property is fun and eclectic. We stayed in late Fall which was beautiful but I think it would be really cool to experience in the summer with such a great property.

Tucked away heaven
Booked this place as an early birthday celebration for my wife. She loves nature and being away from all the noise of the city and this was the perfect place to disconnect. The property is well maintained and the house is very cozy, prompting to stay inside and relax. The nearest convenience store is about 25-30 minutes drive, so make sure to get all you need in one shot. My family absolutely enjoyed this place and will definitely be coming back here again.

Grear little cabin
Very secluded. Property is great especially the camper. Stores and gas are a little bit of a trip so stock up before you get there. You could have a great family weekend or romantic getaway depends what your looking for. A lot of different wildlife and nice little cabin

Nice secluded cabin stay
We had a relaxing time. Nice place to stay for seclusion, relaxation, proximity to hiking spots. We visited in May just for a getaway and to be in the woods and it was great for that purpose; I’m sure it would be great if you were looking for adventure as well. The cabin itself was nice and cozy, had all the modern amenities - it was a large property, we didn’t see any neighbors, just us and the cabin, the woods, birds, and a few newts. Lots of hiking opportunities nearby (20-40 min) and a nice cidery with outdoor food trucks in Gilboa. Our drive to the cabin along 28, 23a, 990v (or thereabouts) was beautiful.

I wanted a weekend getaway, this was so much more
Secluded, best kept secret. The only noise was the wind blowing through the trees, the pictures online do not do this cabin justice, if you want to connect with family or friends bring them here. All there is to do is spend your time with each other; no distractions. Breath taking views. A perfectly decorated cabin with so much charm, yet has the perfect balance of modernization. There are three separate structures to stay in, between the cabin, a retro trailer and a yurt, an entire family can blanket the hill side and really spend quality time together around a roaring bonfire or a simple copper fire place, kids stuff to do like swings in the trees, hiking, bikes on the property Great spot to stay.

Warm cozy cabin
My husband and I stayed here for a quick snowboarding weekend getaway. It was -9 degrees when we go there and were welcomed by the coziest cabin. The owner, Joe, was great and gave us dinner suggestions. We would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful time at Joseph’s cabin. We were looking for a remote location outside of NYC that offered access to decent hiking trails and skiing. The cabin surpassed our expectations. We highly recommend!

Wonderful Summer Getaway
This Location has everything you could ask for! It doesn't get any better, from the decor to the locations on the property! If you're looking for an escape from the city's hustle and bustle, this is the perfect location. The owner was one a text or called away and gave great recommendations for local attractions in the area. WI would most stay at this property again. We stayed in the summer months, which were nice, but I can only imagine how wonderful it must be in the winter.

Our favorite cabin
This is me and my husbands 3rd time here and it is our favorite cabin to stay at. We first came December 2018 and ever since then there has been so much improvements done to the property and they all have been amazing. Communication is great as always, cabin is always clean and you have everything you need there and more. Its secluded and safe. Already planning our 4th visit :) Thank you so much for having us again!

Beautiful secluded place
My friends and I stay at a cabin probably once or twice a year, and this was one of the nicer ones we’ve stayed in. The area itself was really secluded and might be a bit of a bear to access at night, but once I made it there, I liked it a lot. Joe the owner was attentive and responded to my texts, and the place itself was clean and comfortable. There were 5 of us, and it got to be a little cramped but overall I would reccomens staying here to anyone interested.

The perfect moto basecamp!
Ventured up to Joe's cabin for an early spring season getaway out of NYC on our motorcycles to ride the northern NY State roads. This cabin was the perfect basecamp for our trip. Accessible to great roads and so many little towns, we planned 2 days of rides from that location. In the evenings, the cabin is secluded enough for us to hang by the fire pit all night without disturbing anyone. Amenities were just right and didn't want for anything during our stay. Joe is a wonderful host and we'll definitely be back. Looking forward to the next moto adventure.
