"I was surprised that there was no car park, but the street parking was okay. My spacious room on the front was a bit too warm overnight (we are having unusally warm weather) so I had the window open.On Saturday night, people outside were noisy until 1.05am, but there was little noise from within the building. The staff were friendly and helpful. At breakfast the omelette was huge. "

"The views from the hotel are amazing . The staff and very friendly , informative and helpful . Our room was very spacious with views over the fields (room 20.) Very clean and tidy . Breakfast very good and sets you up for the day . Pre dinner cocktails sitting in the garden an added bonus . Dinner exceptional and in particular the curries ! Would highly recommend staying at Ernespie again . Anyone travelling with children the neighbouring Ernespie Farm and play area is ideal . Thank you...

"Total Gem! Beautiful views, amazing food….rooms are fresh, clean and tastefully decorated. The hotel sits overlooking the sea and the beautiful Golf course which enhances the tranquility. The restaurant is the real winner here and a must visit for residents or non residents. I have been back twice in the last two weeks!!. "

"We were driving to North Scotland from East Sussex and wanted to break our drive overnight and The Village Inn and Kirtle House B&B was ideally situated to do this. There was ample parking at the rear of the property through a gate. Alison, the proprietor was extremely welcoming and accommodating. The bedroom was thoughtfully set out with accessories, tea and coffee making facilities. The bed linen was clean and the bed very comfortable. "Our stay at Springkell was a highlight of our trip. The grounds are beautiful, the staff were amazing, and it was peaceful and quiet. The breakfast was also quite good. For people traveling from the US who are users of Google maps for directions, I suggest avoiding the Google maps directions to get to sprinkell. We were taken on a roundabout way that ended up with us on a very rudded gravel road as it was getting dark. We were there for only one day, and I wish that we could have stayed...
