"Such a cozy cabin and some amazing trails right behind for exploring by yourself or with dogs. Loved the open floor plan and the loft area, much bigger than anticipated. Had an amazing stay and look forward to renting it again. 10/10 recommend in the winter, can only imagine how it is in the summer."

"The house was excellent, there where 8 of us and there was plenty of space- large well equipped kitchen, big living room, all around nice!"

"The house is sprawling, plenty of first floor room, and a top level apartment was great for a family’s needing their own space. The rooms were comfortable and each had a lake view. The kitchen pantry was well stocked with little extras, and there was plenty of fridge storage with two refrigerators. The lake is set behind the house with a huge yard that accommodates many games. The dock and swimming area were tidy, and they had plenty of water boats (boards,kayaks,canoes) and life preservers....

We were celebrating two birthdays in the family over the weekend and the lake house was the perfect relaxing getaway that allowed us to spend quality time together. "From the fresh cut flowers on the back porch to the wonderful homey ambience inside, this place is truly a home away from home. Beautiful scenery outdoors, and comfy and cozy inside. The front deck was beautifully decorated with fall mums, and inside various plants, basking in the sun make this cabin come alive. The host was a delight to communicate with, and available every time we had a question or need. We are already planning our trip back. "

"Perfect a weekend ski get away with 3 kids…beautiful views on the lake. A bit remote..but a nice 40 minute ride to Jay Peak. "

"On the down side: It's VERY dark in the house. Other than kitchen & bath, lighting is poor. Walls are all dark which attributes to the lighting issue. The house is too beautiful to have such a gloomy look. Poor instructions from owner. Unable to discard trash as garage was locked. Unfamiliar with propane, I could only get one burner to work on the stove. No cleaning supplies were available for me to use if needed. Bring a wand if you want to watch television. Wish we knew that. On the up side:...

"Close to Jay Peak & restaurants on Newport’s Main St but laid out awkwardly. Bathroom is huge but living room is cramped. I was a little worried that we would be cold since it didn’t look well insulated, but the heat was good & strong & it didn’t take long to warm up. Owner likes fish & angels, which dominate the decor. "Was nice retreat on the frozen lake. Good to have fireplace (had to bring own wood) and allowed the dogs."

"Rented the place in mid-oct for a second-marriage honeymoon. The place was easy to find and was set up perfectly for a two person cozy stay. House faces the sunset and has a deck and sitting porch. Brought my little boat and the boating access is across the street. We had zero issues. We would definitely come back!! Definitely worth it. 👌 "

"Great location, right at the bottom of Burke mountain, cabin has everything you need for a nice stay. We go for ski, snowboarding, hiking and mountain biking. Close to town and restaurants. We're are always very happy with our stay, kid and dog included! "

"We had a really nice stay. Tim was very kind and inviting, made sure check in was a breeze, and was helpful with recommendations. The kitchen had everything we needed. The location is great, as is the view. Bed was comfortable but is also on wheels which was a problem for our dog going under the bed. We also discovered a lot of dust bunnies under the bed and arm chair as a result. Lastly, you should know that the water is sulfurous. It didn't bother us but it's worth knowing. We would...

"Its a great little cabin for a couple or solo traveler. It had a couple small kitchen applianes such as a toaster over, microwave, hot plate, toaster and dishware. It however had no pots or pans so bring them if you wish to use hot plate to cook. The only thing that wasnt favorable was how cold the floor and bathroom got due to the not well insultated flooring, once i cranked the heat in the main room and left the bathroom door open, a little while later it was warm enough to shower.
