"Everything was as listed comfy and unique.With beautiful surroundings lots of countryside with beautiful views. We travelled to the beach and went board surfing then back to the Shepherds hut were we lit the log fire and enjoyed Pizza that we cooked in the pizza oven that is on sitereally enjoyable stay.sitesitecooked "

"Very convenient location for easy travel. Property well described but it is tucked in beside a disused club house. Car parking a bit hit and miss but wasn't a problem. Inside was clean but this was a bit tarnished by a very smelly cigarette bin right beside the front door and the smell permeated the whole house. Beds were good, facilities were good."

"A very different experience, a shame it was November so the weather wasn't great, but still a great experience. Would definately recommend flip flops for the bus stop showers, as that floor was a tad painful. And a shame the shower with a view had suffered in the last freeze, would be great in summer. Will consider a revisit in warmer weather if we need a place to stay in the area in the future."

"I was misled by the search criteria - putting in dates i needed. Then booked in for different days. Yes, i should have checked. But i know my search criteria had correct dates and didnt know it would have offered outside criteria. Luckily one property was vacant and i was given that. I was grateful. BUT i have to say the cost was at least double to what would have been a fair Off grid is one thing, but for that expense i was expecting a shared fridge and some solar lighting/electricity!! Rip...

"My wife, dog and I stayed in the Parlour cottage at the end of August 2024. Please take note that they prefer cash or bankers transfer, Hotels.com does not take the money. It is so relaxing and quite, this is down to the hands off way of the owners, Martin & Kate. We arrived and found a wonderful welcome pack waiting of Bread, milk, eggs and biscuits. "We went out of season for a little break, & this was perfect. Nothing was too much trouble & the owners were so so lovely, friendly & very helpful. The warm & cosy little cottage was decorated beautifully & had everything you needed. (Plus a hot tub outside!) All in all a truly wonderful experience - our dog loved it too!!"
