Views were great, beds comfy, walk to beach convenient. Only issue for us old folks was taking things up and down the spiral staircase.

Nice place for a quiet getaway.
We enjoyed the access to the beach. Quiet neighborhood except side roadwork going on. Place is comfortable. Be prepared to use stairs for main floor. Great view of the beach. Close to Gold Beach Bookstore and sightseeing. The only disappointments were uncleaned areas (table lazy susan, some dishes and silverware, window freezer bottom), and blinds were hard to use and delicate.

Quirky with amazing views
Great location, and amazing views. The decor is eclectic but comfy and the kitchen is well equipped. On the bad side, the fridge was broken and there was an ant infestation. Owners tried to get in early to replace fridge as we were packing up at 930am. We were rushed out by the owners who were not polite about it.

Location! Needs some work...
The location was terrific! The beach was less than s block away! The sunsets, clamming, just fun! Gold Beach is such a short drive! Easy access to 101 and so much exploring to do! The house itself, had a few issues, nothing major. Beds are comfy, kitchen VERY well stocked. Downstairs shower missing a knob. Leak under kitchen sink: the bucket under the sink let me know they already knew about the problem. Probably should have been disclosed before. There are a lot of ants... didn't see them on the counters, only floors. Again, they know as there are multiple ant traps throughout the home. Yes the windows are dirty, it's hard water stains. There are things they could try, but with such a short walk to the beach, come on people, get some steps in!

Disappointing Property
As soon as we opened the front door we were hit with a damp and moldy smell. It was very overwhelming and unhealthy to sleep in the downstairs bedroom. As a result of not being able to use the downstairs, we were all forced to use the upstairs for living and sleeping. Therefore, we were unable to use half of the property that I had paid for. It was very uncomfortable trying to sleep three adults in the remaining space. I had contacted Vacasa several times and got no satisfaction behind oh we’re so sorry and you must feel terrible. As a result my Family left three days early and I left one day early due to this disappointment. I really hope that someone from the Cousin management will Contact me.

Disappointed
We couldn't enjoy the sea view as we had hoped because the windows were very dirty. That was very disappointing as that is why we picked the Sand Crab. Also there were no instructions on how to use the heating system and turning on the3 tvs. Finally figured out 2 but the 3rd would not turn on. We ran out of hot water twice. The fireplace didn't work as it smoked up the livingroom. Not what we expected . I would not recommend this place to anyone .

You get what you pay for
At first glance, the property is great. Quiet neighborhood, beautiful views, close to the beach. Once you start to settle in its clear there is alot to be desired. The views is great, however the windows are so dirty on the outside when mixed with the moist marine air its almost impossible to see out of them. The cleanliness is superficial, the seating in the living room is dreadful, and supplies are minimal. While the app is great, quick response to issues via text, the local staff are slow in their responses (36 hrs before the addressed the refrigerator/freezer not working) and zero follow up. We will return to Gold Beach, its beautiful, however we will not stay at this property again.

Front Row Seats to Mother Nature
Loved our stay. Ended up making dinner in the well equipped kitchen, rather than going out to eat. We were treated to an epic thunder and lightning storm over the ocean that we will not soon forget. Front row seats to mother nature. Great view and a truly memorable weekend. We will be back next winter.

Coastal beach getaway
Loved this spot close to the beach. The upstairs living room was awesome for watching sunsets when it was too windy to get outside to watch it. The rooms felt cozy and kitchen is a great spot to entertain from. Overall it exceeded expectations

Gold Beach - Golden Nugget!
Jumped up the coast to Gold Beach and glad we did! We totally enjoyed every aspect this home offered. Super clean, well stocked, AMAZING Ocean view, quiet neighborhood, easy to find, and a trail to the beach down the street. Best way to start the New Year. Totally recommend.....thank you for our stay.

Perfect
We loved our stay at the sand crab! It was a beautiful property and the beach was fantastic. Tide pools, sea lions and the most gorgeous sunsets. We would love to come back again sometime.

Beach Weekend Stay
The home is in a great location for those wanting great views and proximity to the beach/ocean. The home was updated and for the most part clean. Lots of stairs so maybe not the best for elderly. Overal great stay!
