So many extras, from the chili and corn bread upon arrival to the oatmeal and fresh apples for breakfast The roses from her garden smelled so very good. The night sky was so clear, star watching was chilly but delightful. We'll definitely be staying with Rosie again."

"Enjoy our stay a little disappointed there was dog poop everywhere in the yard someone left behind, the patio and porch we had to clean. and then we went to cook with the grill and it was really dirty so we cleaned that we pulled plates tfrom the cupboard and they were full of water, and my husband got water all over them enjoyed our stay but a little disappointed"

"This property was very serene and beautiful. Very well kept property and check in and out were seamless. Even with the owners, a full-time tenant and guests in the other rental on the property we had complete privacy. The bed could stand for an upgrade and maybe more comfortable seating. The addition of an electric burner would complete the ability to prepare meals which would be nice. Overall a great place."

"My husband and I have stayed at many of the rentals in Ashland over the years. We really enjoyed the location of Hellman House. One could walk just about anywhere to dine, have drinks, shop, visit famous Lythia Park. The home was clean, and the property manager was very responsive. My only nitpicky thought is that the upstairs bedroom doesn’t have a door. Kind of odd. Should be easy enough to add one. "We loved it here and hope to come back. The river is the main character and the historic cabin makes this a perfect getaway. If you don’t appreciate a little rustic charm you may not enjoy it as much as we did. There are plenty of amenities like the hot tub and sauna. We enjoyed sitting on the deck every night and watched the spawning salmon. There were many books about the area. The host checked in on us which was so nice. We loved the area and can’t wait to return. "
