"Long weekend visiting extended family in NC. We thoroughly enjoyed this property especially the ample outdoor space. Morning coffee on the porch as the sun rose, paddling around the lake during the day, relaxing evenings... a great stay. The house is older but was meticulously clean. Would stay again."

"This is a great cottage! The decor is perfectly designed. The beds are comfortable. The location is quiet. We even heard an owl outside one night. The closest restaurant or grocery store is about 20 min away, but a beautiful drive. I did reach out to the host during our stay and never heard back so that is my only complaint. We had a lovely time and would definitely stay again. "

"This was such a great getaway for the weekend. Everything was clean and well maintained. The hosts were easy to contact and answered all my questions. Great way to learn about living off grid, showering in an outdoor stall and using a composting toilet. If you need to keep some food cold or frozen I suggest bringing some ice. They provided a small cooler. Overall great experience."

"We had an excellent stay at this home in Sanford while in town for a wedding. The house was extremely clean and spacious. We really enjoyed sitting out in the 3 seasons room at night. The beds were comfortable, the neighborhood was quiet and in a great location. We would definitely stay here again when traveling to Sanford. "

"I had a great stay at this Tuscan Villa with friends. The house is spacious and well-equipped, making it easy to feel right at home. There were more than enough beds for everyone to sleep comfortably, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The location was a bonus – close to Jordan Lake, which was perfect for a quick trip to nature. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable experience, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone planning a group getaway."

"This was a fantastic spot to stay for the weekend. We hosted our engagement party on the property and it was such a success. The rec room area is very unique and the outside space gives guests a lot of places to spend time. It was nice to feel like we were in the woods despite being inside, with all the trees! I recommend bringing earplugs if you’re a light sleeper because it’s a semi-open floor plan :)"

"We had a great stay, very clean, comfortable and quiet! All the amenities we needed were there, and the hosts were great to work with and quick to respond! Beautiful remote property just off the two lane highway. Keep in mind that Uber/Lyfts can be a bit difficult to pull out to pick you up (it just takes time and patience), and the steep gravel driveway can be a bit of a challenge if not in a proper vehicle (was not for us, but it was for the rideshare sedans)."

"Unfortunately the house was is poor condition overall, from outside to inside. The grass was high, weeds filled the mulch beds and the driveway. Inside I actually swept and mopped the entire house when I got there because there was visible dirt on the floor. In addition the bathroom was not cleaned (both the tub/shower and toilet), and I cleaned those as well. Maybe at one point the home was well kept and clean, but the shower and tub need work along with the refrigerator essentially should be...
