Great location and spacious home
Nice home and great location. Only problem was the outside trash cans were left full of garbage and full of water and smelled terrible. We were not able to use the grill because of the smell. We took it upon ourselves to dump the water and trash out. There was also no toilet paper and kitchen trash from last visitors was not thrown out. Wasn’t as clean as we expected, but other than that we had a great time. Thank you!

Nice and quiet. Calm water.
Nice little cabin, access road is a little rough but drivable. Outside property needs some maintenance, several lights out, dock lights don’t work at all and chairs are all broken. Stairs on one side of the porch are breaking away from the porch. Downstairs shower has a crack in the floor pan that will pinch your foot. Very rocky and uneven walkways. Would not recommend for elderly visitors or those who have balance issues.

NIGHTMARE!
I am shakimg while im writing this. What was supposed to be a wonderful birthday weekend getaway to celebrate my husband's birthday and our sweet 8 month old grandbaby's first mini-vacay with the family, turned to a complete horror show! First of all, the drive to get to the place was horrendous and scary to say the least. The property os not marked well on GPS so it took us to the wrong address. The road to ge their is beat up and it feels like your driving into a deserted desert. It was dangerous due to the many pot holes, very narrow turns, loose gravel and unstable. inclines. We took our boat with us and we almost got stuck several times. It is not suitable for boats and trailers. Even though I repeatedly asked the hos SEVERAL times if it was okay for me to bring our boat and if there was easy access for it on the property. She said SEVERAL times, yes, that it absolutely was. That was a LIE! Once we found the place. Oh, my GOSH...they state their is a steep drivway, but not one thats narrow, dangerously steep and not safe for a boat or any car to drive down fir that matter. We could not get our truck, trailer nor boat down there safeky. My daughters drove our suv down and were sliding diwn due to the loose gravel. It was so scary! Once we, all got down to the property, some of us had to walk down the steep incline, and finally get to see the house. Hoping that from all this mess weve experienced, the house will help us make make the best of it. WRONG. The house was DIRTY.

Perfect fishing weekend!
My family had a great time at the cabin! It was large and clean, with tons of beds, comfy recliners, and cold AC (a must for Texas adventures)! The dock was our favorite part. No matter the time of day, we were under shade. Everyone caught a bass!! Make sure you go out for night fishing, youre almost guarenteed to catch something! Thank you for a fun weekend adventure!

Nice house, beautiful lake.
We love everything about this place. The house is comfortable, spacious, fully equipped, all stuff works fine. Location is quite and peaceful. Fun and joy we had in the lake is indescribable. Hope to come again.

Father's Day Celebration
We spent Father's Day weekend there. Check-in was a breeze. Our grandchildren loved the lake. The house was great. No problems. The driveway was steep, but none of us left the property the whole weekend until it was time to go home. I would bring lifejackets or something to float on. Lots of fish...bring your poles. Great experience. We plan to come back. It is a short drive from DFW and very affordable compared to PK.

Two families moved in for the weekend. We were here for an event and sadly did not get to enjoy the property to its full advantage. Everything was perfect and we want to come back next time just for the lake experience. Two families can easily stay with plenty of room. We should have had a third!

Perfect location & perfect hosts
The property host reached out to me via text as we were on our way just to be sure we had her contact info easily at hand. Our hosts were kind, thoughtful and prompt to act on our requests. The property was sparkling clean (the towels and sheets smelled especially fresh!) and the kitchen was very well appointed. We felt like we were staying with family 😍Please visit this property--you will be glad you did!

House was nice! However we are lake rats who stay at Vrbo houses. Ask alot if you rent this one. Because there are no exit or entry instructions. Only house rules. Owners were friendly on the phone once we spoke.

Wonderful weekend
Directions were spot on.....communication with owner was super easy.....inside was very clean and updated and cld accommodate very easy the way they had it set up. The water was literally right in ur backyard and the outside fireplace area wld have been SO perfect if the weather hadn't been so chilly. Altho we did enjoy one evening down by the water for happy hour. But making a fire and watching Netflix on the cold Saturday we had was too relaxing and perfect as well! We will definitely be putting this on our return places to go!!!

Great Lake house
The lake house was in a nice area. But the house was not what we expected for the price, fridge was not working properly their where bugs and nats all in the home, the a/c did not work down stairs, their are also several rebar pieces sticking up from the ground that I hurt my foot on. Also their where not much pot and pans to use and the ones that where their were all burnt and not clean. My family will not be renting here again.

Spring Break
The location was great and we enjoyed our time hanging out and fishing. The porch had an amazing view and the sitting area with the lights was perfect for a little BBQ and S'mores! I was disappointed in it not being as cleaned as expected. My suggestion is updating Stove (very old and oven hasn't been cleaned, not all burners worked) and Refrigerator (every time you opened the fridge the freezer would open).

Want to Go Back!
This was such a peaceful place to stay. We enjoyed it so much and felt at home the whole time. It had everything we needed for a 3 night stay for a family of 4. Truly a get away from city life. We enjoyed the fireplace and outdoor fire pit and hammocks. Wish we could come back every weekend!
