"We had four couples stay for a friend’s funeral in a close by town. The house was extremely comfortable and gave each of us our own space and bathroom. The common areas were great for gathering and we particularly loved sitting on the front porch for morning coffee and in afternoon with a glass of wine. "Wow! What a place full of wonderful people. I don’t know where to begin. My sons and I were staying at Kickback Ranch as a result of evacuating for Hurricane Ida. When we arrived, we realized there were many other families from our area who came as a result of the storm. First of all, the place is beautiful. Lots of stuff for kids to do. "My son (college student) visited me here and we had so much fun both in the pool and playing pool! We cooked dinner in the well-furnished kitchen and ate on the back porch; it was so quiet.
