Lots of space but also lots of rules
I agree with one of the other reviews - we do an annual girls trip and this is BY FAR the most rules of any short term rental we have ever booked! With the threat of security camera monitoring and photos from neighbors, the fear of accidentally breaking one of the rules did suck some of the fun out of our trip. We did love how much space this house has and with a group of 9 girls, having an en-suite bathroom in most of the bedrooms was awesome. Another review mentioned this - sadly there is not enough furniture in the living to accommodate the number of guests the house can sleep. I believe the listing states that it will sleep 14. Our group was only 9 and because one of the many rules is that you can’t move any of the furniture, some had to sit on the floor if we all wanted to be in the living room together. There were a handful of minor issues but we provided private feedback and hopefully those are resolved for future renters. Based on this experience, I do not believe we will rent a property managed by Evolve in the future.

Thanksgiving Get-away
This house was the perfect size and plenty of room for 4 couples and a baby. Fully stocked kitchen. Lots of space to spread out. Backyard was beautifully kept with a firepit and pool. Great for large families!

Beautiful and relaxing setting
This is a beautiful and spacious property. We stayed with five siblings and spouses (all over age 60) and had plenty of room. The theater room was fun but there is no way to connect other devices. The seating in gathering rooms is not enough to accommodate the number of people staying. The pictures are a little deceiving in that there are multiple levels within the house and some of the steps are high and difficult to navigate. Also, we are a frequent VRBO user and this property has more rules than ANY we have ever stayed in such as removing shoes while in the house.

Wonderful Property!!
This is one of the best lake houses we have ever stayed in. It is very well stocked with everything needed for a relaxing lake trip. We had eleven people and all had a comfortable place to sleep. There were even enough bathrooms for each family unit to have their own. Outside view is so pretty and well kept. The pool was also in good shape and we have had issues with pools in the past. We are definitely planning to return next year.

Beautiful property
The property is located right on the lake front of Lake Granbury. The home is well-appointed and very spacious. The media room and game room are great additions to a fine kitchen and bedrooms. The pool was a big hit with the family and we would rent this property again.

Great Stay on the Lake
Could not have been better. Beautiful home right on the water. The pool was great, the kids loved the sand beach into the lake. The dock was perfect for fishing and cannonballs. Highly recommend.

The house was as advertised and the caretaker and his wife were very nice and helpful. The bit suggestion I have is a rail on the pool. The group I was with mostly over 68 and a rail on the pool would be a good safety item. More cup towels in the kitchen and bigger bathroom towels. Thank you for the stay. Myra

Great stay near the track
We had a group of racers from the nearby track in Cresson - Easy to get to and lots of food options near by - The place was great and easily accommodated our large group of 13.. Absolutely loved the property and everyone staying was thinking about renting for future family get aways - The positives - Great kitchen, open spaces, never felt crowded - Nice backyard with pool and view. Negatives, none really.. Maybe 5 minutes closer to town, but completely worth the extra 5 minutes.. Lots of wildlife around that added to the charm.. Absolutely perfect.

This is the PERFECT home on the Lake
Pictures are great, but know, they don’t do this property justice. We chose to do our family trip here, and it was more than perfect. Has everything for everyone in your family to enjoy. The views, the sun setting over the lake, the plush green grass, the large rooms, the pool and shade, access to swim and fish by the dock, and so much more. We did not want to leave! Book it, you won’t regret it! (We have already had a referral book for next summer) The property manager took excellent care of any of our questions. Our kids, 7-10 yrs old said, “Best place we have ever stayed”!!! ~we will return again~ Thanks!!

Girl's Weekend
We really enjoyed our weekend in this home on Granbury Lake. The house was very clean and roomy for the 10 of us. It's in a great location on the lake, and although it was too cold to get in, the house seems to have everything you would need to have a great time on the lake. During our stay, the water was shut off to all the houses around us. The owner was quick to communicate with us, and she even offered to give us credit for bottled water. I do have a few suggestions however. There is only 1 roll of cheap toilet paper provided per bathroom, so make sure you bring some extra if you have a large group. Also, only 1 roll of paper towels is provided. The kitchen had the minimum supplies and could use some plastic bags, plastic wrap etc. Also, there was no pitcher for iced tea, so bring your own. We are definitely looking forward to booking another weekend in this house.

Granbury Lake House
Huge rooms, very comfortable, big kitchen, wonderful views of the lake and sunsets. Pool and outdoor table area very nice. Crazy neighborhood though, every kind of structure, from very large and nice to falling down shacks.

A Relaxing Home
We booked this house last minute, and we have no regrets! The house was beautifully done, spacious and the view of the lake and pool were spectacular, especially during sunset. Cooking meals were easy. Our kids loved the pool and home theater. They were sad to leave. Bedrooms were very comfortable. My only criticism would be the level of cleanliness. Overall, everything was clean enough. But for the cleaning fee, it could be cleaner in certain areas like the inside of the microwave and fridge. One bathroom could have also used more attention. But it is a very large home and probably easy to overlook those things. However, we would definitely stay here again!
