Lets start with the good, location is convenient… Now the bad, stay was in late February, we had to shovel the patio to open the perimeter door all the way, and to access the fire pit. The roof had about 2” of snow and ice, hanging half a foot over the edge. Snow melt was not working. One bed had mouse droppings on the comforter. Mouse droppings were found around the kitchen as well. We ended up washing all the bedding before sleeping in it. Spatulas had old dried food/grease on them. Utensils were dirty. Ended up washing anything we needed to use beforehand. Wood fireplace needed to be cleaned out, we cleaned out 2, 5 gallon buckets of ash from the pit. Couch appeared okay until we removed the mountain of decorative pillows to reveal a variety of stains.
Now the unsafe, extension cords galore. Obviously this is an older cabin, possibly an addition given the wildly uneven foundation. However the amount of appliances and lighting that were running off extension cord was insane and extremely unsafe.
Spent a good amount of time cleaning a place that should have already been clean. Overall disappointed in the place.
