"We stayed here over the August Bank Holiday (4 adults) and had a lovely time. The cottage was conveniently located in a side street in the centre of Windermere with plenty of free parking nearby. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you could need and nearby there were shops pubs and restaurants. "

"There was a damp smell upon arrival. When we looked around we could see there had been a leak from the bathroom staining the ceilings and carpets. The bathroom door did not lock and there property was generally in a poor state of repair. Marks on every wall and paint peeling from the window sills. "Nice caravan, situated close to all amenities, if you have stayed in a Haven Park before this caravan would be classed as a Bronze accommodation, to give you the comparison if you were to book your stay with Haven direct. Weather was great, park very busy with the weekend campers (tents) this area was packed, kids play park was a free for all, I would say too small for the amount of families staying onsite, wonder what the middle of summer holidays would be like when all caravans and camping...

"The views and location amazing, very quiet and relaxing. The property itself is looking a little tired, the garden overgrown, but the balcony made up for it, sadly no sunsets the 3 evenings but morning warm sunshine was lovely overlooking the bay. We enjoyed our break away. "

"Lake nice. Rooms like any Ibis but too expensive. Small swimming pool we didn't use it. And paying extra for amenities and Internet it's just a terrible idea. Why don't they just ad 15 pounds to the price of the room and don't act like a low cost airline. The resort is not low cost. Brilliant lake view from the Lodge. Ugly restaurant and bar. The machines doesn't work they keep your money and lady in reception couldn't help. It's not a 4 stars hotel! ITS NOT LAKE...
