We had a great time cooking smores in the firepit and exploring some of the property. Everyone we saw was very friendly. My only complaint is the other cabin on the property. It is extremely close and the listing doesn't really mention it. It wasn't being rented during our stay, so it wasn't an issue, but I could see how some people might not be a fan of it. Overall,...

"The home has 4 (-5) bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, large kitchen, beautiful front decks with gorgeous mountain views. I t is a wonderful place to have family time! It is pet-friendly (a requirement for us.) We stayed 3 nights-not nearly long enough. We loved the home. It is about 15-25 minutes from towns (West Jefferson is very nice) but convenient to New River water activities, hiking, Grayson Highlands State Park (loved the wild ponies! and hiking waterfalls,) Mount Jefferson hikes, etc."
