"This house was the perfect set up for two families. We loved watching the sunsets on the lake. There is a nice solo stove on the deck for bonfires. They have a blackstone which was perfect for a couple of our dinners. The host reaponded very quickly to our questions. We visited Acadia a couple times and Bar Harbor (maybe save Bar Harbor for a weekday) which was about a 45 minute drive. Went to Stonington and kayaked around the islands. "Such a great location and property for our 3 families. Off the beaten path on a quiet corner of the lake, we spent lots of time swimming, paddling, and relaxing. "This rental is centrally located. Bangor is a short drive away and you can get to the coast in an hour. The house was very clean at a resonable price. The neighborhood is quiet and not far from neccesities. We especially enjoyed eating dinner on the river at peppers landing and the Bangor outdoor venue for concerts is beautiful. Great time and wonderful area! "

"The hotel is beautiful. They have kept the charm of the historic buildings while also including all of the updated amenities you could want. We found our room to be stylish and inviting. We really enjoyed our stay and will stay again if we find ourselves in the area. As an UMaine alumna it was a wonderful opportunity to revisit the campus and found the innovation and execution of on-campus accommodations to be impressive!"
