"The house is situated in a quiet, peaceful location with an incredible view. We watched lobster boats come and go and seals fishing in the bay. A fantastic place to spend a few days! The house is small and no-frills, but clean, comfortable and well-maintained. We appreciated how it was far enough from Bar Harbor to avoid the August crowds, but close enough to go there for the day. Check in/out was straightforward, and communication was excellent."

"We stayed at this location myself , my daughter, my best friend and her daughter and her husband. We all fit nicely in the home. The property was great. Very clean. "We loved our stay in this beautiful, secluded oceanfront cottage! The home had everything we needed and the view was absolutely amazing! Stewart's Grocery & Takeout had great takeout pizza and groceries. We enjoyed lovely maple cortados at the Milkhouse Cafe south of Machias, and fantastic lobster bisque at the Public House. Eastport, Lubec, and Pembroke are all an easy drive away. We also enjoyed Lunch on the Wharf in Corea. An unforgetable stay in an unforgettable location."

"Great rustic lodging. Helpful and friendly host. Beautiful area and close to many hiking trails in parks and preserves. Highly recommended if you want simple, rustic lodging with comfortable accommodations (nice bed, everything needed for a compact kitchen to prepare meals, and nice picnic table for eating outdoors). "This was such an amazing stay, I highly recommend it. Check in was very easy and straight forward. The bathroom was right next to the shed and was very clean inside. We had a bit of a problem with the power, but they fixed it within 5 minutes of me texting them. We had a tour of the farm which was the highlight of my Maine trip. "We loved this house and the location! We've stayed in a nearby house for many vacations through the years but needed something bigger, and this house was perfect for us. It's quirky and filled with art, and beautiful ocean views.The upstairs layout is a little funky (one bedroom is only accessible via adjoining rooms, and one large bedroom has the back staircase in it) but it was totally fine for us. Our kids loved the visiting chickens and walking to the beach each morning."
