The most relaxed break ever
We stayed for a fortnight in this wonderful apartment in the lovely village of Gennadi. While the village may not suit those wanting to ‘do’ lots of things, it was perfect for us. If you had children I would recommend hiring a car, we didn’t and had no problem hopping on a bus a couple of times to see more of the island. Most days we spent in Gennadi just enjoying the peace and tranquility. The beach is a five minute walk away and while there was always people there it was never overcrowded. We tried every restaurant and all of them were good (some were so good we went back twice!). Jason was very approachable and helpful and definitely contributed to how great our overall experience was. The only thing I would mention is that there is no WiFi in the apartment. While not being a slave to our phones probably increased our enjoyment and contributed to how relaxing our stay was I can imagine if you had kids they might find it against their human rights and demand retribution! For us though it was perfect and we will definitely return.

Ideal for 2
My wife and I had stayed before, 4 years ago. Ideal for 2 and conveniently located to explore the island and for self catering everything you need -supermarket- bakery with wicked rolls & pastries & green grocers. Plenty of restaurants, the one we used most is Mamas Kitchen less than 5 mins from the apartment, nice friendly staff, be prepared for large portions, Kleftico or Sea Beam are a must. Being a working village can be a little noisy at times but you adjust. Matt the maintenace guy is very helpfull, his wife had made 2 home made fruit desserts plus large chocolate cake, the bottle of red wine upon arrival was a nice touch. The wild fires (2023) had affected the area but not to spoil the holiday. Would we go again, you bet, health prermitting as we are both in our mid seventies.

Perfect apartment in Gennadi
The apartment was very modern and tastefully furnished. with balconies front and back, to catch sun or shade. There is plenty of space to spread out in. There were some thoughtful touches to welcome us. The pool area is wonderful and the apartment has its own sunbeds. For several days we had the pool to ourselves The whole apartment block and pool are very well maintained. Jason, the owner was really quick to answer any questions or concerns before or during our stay. The apartment itself is quiet, but a couple of minutes walk and you are in bustling heart of Gennadi full of restaurants.

A great apartment for 2, almost in the centre of Gennadi village so handy for shops & tavernas. Good base to explore rhe whole island. Plenty of beaches and other village tavernas nearby.

Love'd it!
The property was exactly as described. Very comfortable and convenient location. There was a night in which the nearby cafè had loud music until 5AM which kept us awake all night. The good thing was that I assume the Municipality had it shut down for 10 days otherwise it would have been a nightmare! The AC, washing machine, fridge, microwave and toaster all worked perfectly. Only thing that didn't work out was the satelite TV. Not much to see besides the news channels CNN, BBC and France 24. All the other stations were in arab or with no signal. Not an issue if you have reading to do. Unfortunately there is NO WIFI.

Delightful!
We had a lovely stay in the very clean apartment. Matt the caretaker and his wife made a lovely welcome pudding. He gave us his number and was always helpful for all our needs. The location was good though the main beach was an hour away by bus though there were lots of buses. Thanks Jason and Matt. We’re definitely returning. There were restaurants and local shops including a bakery near by in the local area together with a pool.

Excellent apartment
My wife and I have just returned from a two week stay in Jason's apartment in Ginnadi, this is the first time of staying in this accommodation. We asked Jason if he could arrange for some bottled water & milk to be put in the fridge as we were arriving late and upon or arrival we found not only these items but also carton of orange juice plus four chocolate muffins (a nice touch).The apartment is very well equipped with quality appliances and was very spacious for the two of us (although will accommodate four). The complex was quiet and most days we used the pool we had it all to ourselves. The local beach is pebble & shingle although about 10 mins drive away is a sandy bay Glystra Beach. We used this mostly as the sand is more comfortable under foot and for swimming is shallow, also very child friendly, plenty of sun beds, snack bar, and basic toilets. Plenty of restaurants in the village (our favourite "Mamas Kitchen"-hope you have a big appetite), supermarket, fruit & veg and a fantastic bakery bread & pastries. Ginnadi is a working village so some traffic noise I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment and would like to return at some point. Martin & Lesley Kemp.

A lovely apartment situated in a truly perfect location.
If you’re wanting to enjoy the relaxation of the true Greek Islands and experience real Greek life, then look no further. Ideal location for the beach, local bars and restaurants and bus stop if you’re wanting to go further afield. Only a one bedroom apartment but with the sofa bed, still provided enough room for me, my wife and two boys. The pool is clean and just what’s needed when sunbathing in the gorgeous August weather. The village is quiet but the bars and restaurants are great, with a few favourites of ours being Mamas, Zorbas and the Lab. In addition to which, we made short trips to other villages - Lardos, Lindos and Kattavia where the locals are also so welcoming and enjoyed some great nights and afternoons. The local bakery situated about 150 yards up the road, amongst other things, sells delicious bread, croissants and doughnuts and their milkshakes were a real hit with my boys. Jason was great and was quick to respond to any queries I had and couldn’t have been more accommodating in all honesty.

Geräumige Ferienwohnung mit tollem Pool und Strandnähe
Sehr saubere und voll ausgestattete Ferienwohnung in hübschem Dorf Gennadi, wo man alles findet, was man im Urlaub braucht. Die Wohnung ist Teil einer kleinen Anlage mit Pool und liegt an einer häufig befahrenen Straße, die manchmal laut ist. Ansonsten ist sie geräumig, Waschmaschine, Kühlschrank und Klimaanlage funktionieren einwandfrei. Das Bad hat ein Fenster und die Terrasse schaut auf den schönen, langen Pool. Der Betreuer vor Ort ist sehr nett, das Meer ist sehr nah. Wir würden nochmal hinfahren!

Ottimo appartamento, silenzioso, vicino a tutti i servizi
Bellissimo soggiorno, piscina pulita giornalmente, cambio lenzuola e asciugamani con pulizia appartamento 1 volta alla settimana. Adatto per 3-4 persone Max, fornito di tutte le attrezzature necessarie. Molto bello il balcone dove mangiare o rilassarsi vista piscina e montagne. Kit di benvenuto al nostro arrivo in casa. Unica, se vogliamo nota negativa la mancanza del Wi-Fi. Assolutamente consigliato.

Clean, modern, well-equipped apartment in a great location
Jason's apartment is just as described: modern, stylish, clean, well-equipped - a real home from home for our family of four. The pool is clean and refreshing with lots of space around it and is private and quiet. The village of Gennadi is a true slice of Greek life, away from the commercial trappings of tourism, which is exactly what we were looking for. There are a number of lovely tavernas in the village and on the beachfront; our favourites being Mama's Kitchen and Sergio's. The Lab bar is a friendly, cool place to get a drink too. Evenings are chilled here and nowhere is noisy. Jason is excellent at communicating information and providing advice, including directions to the apartment and where to hire a car (which we did, and exploring Rhodes from this location is very easy). Overall, a wonderful week's holiday. Highly recommended!

Schönes Apartment zentral gelegen
Hübsches geschmackvoll und praktisch eingerichtetes Apartment mit allem was man benötigt. Supermarkt, Tavernen und Super Bäckerei gleich um die Ecke. Zum weitläufigen, selbst in der Hochsaison ruhigen, nicht überlaufenen Kies Strand mit einigen guten Tavernen ist man zu Fuß 5 min unterwegs. Pool ohne Sonnenschirme... Matt, die gute Seele der Anlage war sehr gastfreundlich und hilfsbereit, vielen Dank nochmals für die vielen Aufmerksamkeiten. Würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Annett & Isabelle

Brilliant Apartment in a Lovely Location
Very well appointed apartment with all the facilities you would expect but note there is no WiFi, however there is a reasonable 3G/4G signal so we were able to stream radio etc. The pool is a good size but not very deep however it’s fine for a quick swim to cool off. Gennady is less developed than many places further North in Rhodes however it’s definitely on the up with plenty of lovely restaurants and bars. We particularly liked Mama’s Kitchen Garden and Lab2 Bar also but you must check out Sposa Beach bar as it is just fantastic with Cabanas right by the sea. I would recommend hiring a car as it cost about the same for a week as transfers to and from airport and it’s worth noting that cabs are very expensive, it cost around 35 euro to get to Lindos which is only around 20 mins away. We had excellent communication from Jason the owner and Matt was on hand at the apartments should we have had any problems (Which we didn’t) We had a wonderful stay and I’m sure we will be returning

Well appointed with everything you need for a lovely holiday in a traditional Rhodarian village. Parking good and far enough away from centre to avoid any noise issues plus close enough for easy shopping. Excellent concierge in Mathew!

A gem of an apartment in a superb location in a great wee village !
This apartment was perfect for us. We had done a lot of research and it certainly paid off ! We wanted to go somewhere to experience real Greece not some resort that could have been anywhere. But at the same time, we wanted comfort. Jason's apartment in Gennadi provided just what we were after. We could not fault it at all. Ok no wifi but we were well aware of that before we booked and it just added to our relaxation. As has been previously stated, the apartment is exactly as advertised, very comfortable and had all we needed. Both the apartment and grounds are maintained to a very high standard. The pool is lovely and was not at all busy while we were there. The complex is situated two minutes walk from the village square, so two minutes (or less) to the supermarket and other shops and less than a minute to the bus stop. Despite being in such a central location it is quiet, we were not bothered by noise at all. It was really great to stay in a place where Greeks actually live. There is a front facing balcony overlooking the street, nice to watch the world go by while privacy is maintained. Also a large balcony overlooking the pool. The beach is 5-10 minutes away depending how fast you walk. It really is a beautiful, quiet beach, with a few sun loungers should you wish to use them (6 euros for umbrella and 2 beds). We took the public bus to Lindos and to Rhodes town, frequent bus service which was on time. We also hired a car for 6 days and saw a bit more of the island - relaxed on beautiful secluded beaches and also took trips into the mountains and visited villages, tavernas etc. We got a private transfer from the airport (Hoppa) which was good but quite expensive (90 euros) but we didn't mind as we didn't want to stay in one of the busier resorts nearer the airport. Transfer time 1 hour 15 minutes. Drove hire car back to airport and left it there for no extra cost. Thoroughly recommend the car hire company we used, Oasis at Kiotari (+306932599942). We ate out every night and some lunchtimes but prepared breakfast and some snacks in the apartment. Plenty of choice in the supermarket and other shops. Our favourite restaurants were Mammas (went 4 times, they could not have been more attentive and food was amazing) and Klimos fish restaurant on the beach (went 3 times, delicious!) All in all, we loved Gennadi and really cannot recommend this apartment enough.

Just as its says
A very Quite location , take plenty of books as the property had none , also there was no information about were to go or what to see from other guests, Matt the man who looks after things there is a great help , take his number, and if you do feel you need a car then Christian from across the road at the bike rental will get you one at a very good rate if you ask her nicely ,the buses are great and cheap, needs a comment book in the apartment ,

The property was exactly as advertised
The property was lovely and very comfortable for two people. The only reservation was that there was no wifi. It was well equipped, modern and the pool area was well maintained. The local supermarket had everything we needed for our stay. The directions to the property were spot on and it was easy to find. Genaddi itself was a little quiet for us at night but we found all the restaurants and the bar across the road (The Lab) very welcoming and friendly. We hired a car so were able to enjoy the island. Our favourite place to go during the day was Haraki beach - great snorkelling, beautiful sea, the cheapest sunbed charges on the island at 7 euros and the best (and cheapest) mojitos at the cafe. Another great place was Anthony Quinn Bay - beautiful. Rhodes Old Town and Lindos were fantastic - best meal was at Timi's restaurant in Lindos - great food beautifully presented and a good price too. Overall a fab holiday.
