"Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Hotel was spotless and had everything you would need. Beautiful walk around lake area. Felt very safe. Lots of near by villages to explore. We took an unexpected trip to Domodossola which was well worth the 45 minute drive to see the foothills of the alps along the drive and the old historic city which had amazing charm."

"Schöne, mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtete Wohnung. Die Gastgeberin Mariella ist sehr bemüht, einem den Aufenthalt so angenehm, wie möglich zu gestalten. Zur Begrüßung standen ein paar Dolci mit einem Kärtchen auf dem Tisch und auch zum Abschied stand ein kleines Präsent vor der Tür, weil sie sich nicht persönlich verabschieden konnte. "In Summe angenehmer Aufenthalt. Die Räumlichkeiten sind großzügig. Die Lage in dem kleinen Dorf Calogna ist sehr ruhig. Das Haus ist ca. 7 Fahrminuten von Lesa am Lago Maggiore entfernt (bei ruhiger Fahrt). Die Bilder geben einen guten Eindruck vom Objekt. Beim Objekt handelt es sich um den größeren Teil eines Doppelhauses (die akustische Trennung ist allerdings nicht sehr gut) mit eigenem, großen Garten zur Bergseite. "This house has some great spaces. The decks are wonderful. Parking space is adequate. Location is close to the center of Stresa but not walkable. There were some problems. The house could have been cleaner. Spiders and spider webs. The 2 bedrooms on the lower level were musty despite the dehumidifier that was running constantly. The bathrooms and kitchen on the lower level had mold. There are no screens on the windows. A microwave and hair dryer would have been nice."
