"My 18 yr old son, 7 yr old dog & I went for 2 nights to celebrate my 60th birthday. The barn is very comfortable & cosy. Instructions to get there was spot on. It was very clean except for a couple of cobwebs with spiders in the corner of the main bedroom & lounge but this didn't bother me. Throws & towels provided for dogs, loved sitting outside with a cuppa in the mornings watching the sun come up. This accommodation was ideal for going out walking in the day & chilling in the evenings. "

"Great little place to stay, lots of character & charm situated on the side of a quiet valley. Although didn’t spend too much time there during the day as fishing the Wye was our reason for being there. Sadly the fish weren’t as welcoming as the accommodation."

Very helpful and friendly hosts Mimi and Arthur. Nice woodland walks from the doorstep, would happily return if in the area again."

"Exceeded expectations. The photos cannot capture the true glory of the setting: an extended log cabin nestling in a large grassy area, surrounded by forest. "We loved staying at this beautiful cottage in such a beautiful location. It was so cozy and the surrounding area was everything we dreamed it would be. Janet and Mike were so welcoming and helpful. We felt like we were visiting family! The surrounding gardens and all the flowers are bountiful and obviously lovingly cared for. And we loved all the nature: bunnies, chickens, and sheep. A total paradise."

"The property was very clean and had everything you could need..Richard the host was very warm and welcoming and nothing was to much trouble and the welcome pack was an unexpected lovely surprise and much appreciated...would reccomend this place to anyone."

"Lovely big house and setting for the family, just a couple of things which would have made it 5* could do with a few more chairs in the living room especially if you have 6 adults or teenagers with you. The floorboards upstairs were a little noisy. No electric kettle or toaster. Overall the house was clean and had most things we needed for our family holiday. "

"Overall this was a good stay, rooms were nice and clean and there was plenty of space for 10 adults to stay. However, both ovens failed to heat properly which made cooking a bit of a pain. Check in process was not great, only being able to arrive between 5-6, the owner did not respond to any prior messages. Despite this, the local area was stunning, and the house was fit for purpose and good value considering the price of other locations in the area for a group this size."

"The hosts were fabulous and blew is away with their welcome pack but is not suitable to sleep 4. Everything is just in one room and there's only seating for 2 unless you want to sit on a bar stool. The layout also needs rethinking because at one point my wife was in bed having a cup of tea and waved to the hosts as they pulled up in their car. If they switched the sofa and bed you'd get more privacy and be able to watch the tv from the sofa. Otherwise, it was great. Would recommend for a couple."

"We booked the property as we were attending a family wedding in the area and we are so glad we did. The location of the cottage is lovely, with a grassed area at the front and paddocks behind. My son was completely in love with the horses, and also enjoyed regular visits from residents dog Bella and cat Archie! The property itself is lovely and homely and we felt really welcome by owner Laura, who came out to say hello when we arrived. We were pleasantly surprised to find that Laura has left us...
