When we arrived at the house we were very pleased with the cleanliness, decor, kitchen provisions and hot tub. However, the main heater providing warmth to all living spaces except the bedrooms, was broken. They provided us with a plug in radiator type heater which wasn’t very effective. I found a very small plug-in heater in a closet that I also plugged in, which helped a bit since it blew the heat with a fan. I notified vacasa that the main heater didn’t work the very first night. They didn’t contact me until the next day, and only said they would tell the local manager. I had to call 2 more times and tell them we were freezing, wearing coats, and covered with blankets, before they finally had the local manager bring an additional heater. However, that was after 3 nts of freezing and at my suggestion that they bring another heater. I wasn’t happy with vacasas service at all! I also discovered there was a problem with the next house I was staying at the following week (vino nest). They had the house listed with a hot tub, but after I booked it, the confirmation email said it was out of order. They refused to book me into a different house. I also found out that the hoUse is very difficult to get to. The road is very steep, covered with mud from a mudslide, it’s 1 lane only so if another car is coming, I have to back down this steep narrow road. I told them it’s too dangerous and I wanted a different house, but they refuse. Vino nest is at the top of a steep, and very narrow
