Great budget stay.
Property was good. Lots of room. Furniture was a little dated but clean and comfortable beds . Budget accommodation that was reasonable. Suited our requirement. Lots of teenagers and a dog. Family fishing and beach trip. Don’t expect the ritz though and only one bathroom was difficult with a big family at times. Kitchen was clean and well equiped. Lots of room for two cars maybe more. No problems with bbq.

House was fine but communication was a major issue
In order to enter the house you need a code. Despite numerous phone calls, text messages and voice messages, I could not get through to the person managing the house and she would not return my calls. We ended up driving to the house without the code and had to call someone from a different area to help us get in. Absolutely terrible service and this could have easily ruined our entire holiday.

Great location, has everything you need
We had a great time, think property could be updated, screen in one bedroom needs replacing, window in main bedroom is broken. Couldn't get the tv to work, bbq wasn't working, but was promptly fixed. Property manager was quick to respond to texts and get things done.

Great weekend getaway
We stayed in Guilderton for the weekend whilst our daughter, son in law and 4 boys camped. The cottage was lovely, and we hosted a BBQ for the family.

Disappointed
I am very disappointed no one bothered to return my calls prior to check in. No instructions on how to work the television. Cold water tap in the Bathroom handbasin is in Urgent need of repairs as it is almost running not just dripping. All floors were very sandy and not pleasant to walk on with bare feet.

A true beach shack as I used to know them. Very basic and old but provided all the comfort needs for a beach holiday for young energetic boys.

Cost effective.
Great spot for what we needed. Just some extra tea towels and maybe bath mats would be great. Also check bbq lighter and all would be spot on. Oh and knives need a sharpen. 😊

Cheap and cheerful
We had a lovely stay in Guilderton. Only a short walk in to town. The accommodation was cheap and cheerful. Fully functional kitchen, bedrooms, lounge and bathroom. Had everything we needed for a nice weekend getaway with friends and family.

Overall a good stay but weather prevented us from fishing and doing outdoor activities!
Fair pricing for the property, it had pretty much everything you needed! Quiet and relaxing as the other properties near us had no tenants!

Beautiful Location
The location was the winner. Even with the storm overhead, the locals were sunny and friendly. The views are spectacular. House is dated with peeling paint from water damage on ceilings. Floors were filthy, I had to vacuum when I got there and couldn't find a mop so socks and clothes got dirty. But it kept us dry and warm. Bring your own blankets though. The doonas are as clean as the floor.
