Perfect weekend getaway

Peaceful Break
Very peaceful and lovely having breakfast on the deck with the birds. A bit of a mixup with finding the keys to let ourselves in as they weren't in the allocated spot, but Marion soon sorted this out for us once we could get in touch with her. There's no reception if you have Vodaphone but the ladies and the wifi in the roadhouse were helpful. Everything we needed was provided in the house and it was very comfortable. Would stay again.

Perfection
We had a wonderful experience at The Treehouse. Marion and Phil were very responsive and thoughtful hosts - booking, check-in and check-out was easy peasy and the property was beautiful, welcoming and clean when we arrived with lots of personal touches and charm. An idyllic outlook over the trees with plenty of birdlife to watch and enjoy while spending time on the huge shady deck. Perfect location close to the beach. We loved it and will be back :)

Christmas in the Tree House
A relaxing stress-free stay in a delightful house. Extremely comfortable beds and sofas, well-stocked kitchen and sitting on the balcony with birds visiting was gorgeous.

Idyllic Weekend away
Tree house stay was great fun & we all loved the birds. The massive pale sandy beach is a very short walk away & the river estuary & village a little further. While we were there it was very hot and there had been an algae bloom in the river so we spent most of the time on the empty beach. Idyllic

Pros- close to the beach and corner shops -pretty house and backyard -easy to contact the host and was very helpful -fireplace had everything ready -the galas would come visit and we’re beautiful -host was very polite and left chocolates, wine and a welcoming note (didn’t drink the wine though as I’m not a drinker but it was a nice gesture) Cons- the shower is luke warm on the hottest setting without any cold water which wasn’t ideal due to the weather -no public transport unless you can find a way to butler train station -got followed home by a man in a van and had to sprint back from the shop -couldn’t sleep some nights due to a man continuously screaming

Weekend getaway
The house had a really comfy cosy feel and made us feel relaxed and at home, an easy place to bring the dog too. We loved staying here and perfect for a quick weekend getaway. Staying in most nights was lovely with the stove fire and making dinner together in the well-equipped kitchen. 5-minute walk to the dog beach was easy and the house is close driving to the river. The owner also loaned the kyaks which the kids loved and perfect to explore up the river accompanied by us on our paddleboards. We were visited a few times by the Gallah's which the kids loved feeding and watching, they also lovely the hammock in the front garden.

Dogs and humans were happy here
Nice little cottage with a beach vibe, quality bedding and cushions throughout. Great to be able to have the dogs, big enclosed decking at front of house and plenty of space for them out the back as well. Its not completely contained out the back (back/side fences to adjoining properties yes, just open sides around the cottage to the front) but our dogs didn't go far so not a problem. Would be perfect with warmer weather to enjoy the main deck and seating area amongst the tree canopy. We enjoyed listening to the rain, in front of the fire instead. Marion was very good to communicate with. Dog beach was close by. We all enjoyed our stay.
