The house was absolutely beautiful! The owners put a lot of love and care in this home. Beautifully decorated, comfortable beds, wonderful neighborhood, and lots of space! So close to the beach and restaurants.

Small but Cozy
It's very evident from this property that the owner has made extra efforts to provide a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Snacks, coffee, tea, and other items were provided above what is typically available in a vacation rental. My 9-year-old particularly enjoyed the sunroom and hanging chair. The location is very convenient to several activities on the coast. The house does have a few quirks. The owner mentions the train being nearby in the listing, and there were a few times when we were pretty sure the tracks just circled around the property. However, we noticed it less and less each night we stayed. The hallway leading to the bedrooms is also uneven, which would probably make for an interesting experience after a drink or 2. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here. After our first night my son gave it high praise saying, "I like it here. It's small, but cozy."

Very convenient
This property was very convenient to everything. We were there for cruising the coast and was a 2 block walk to main area where cars ride up and down road and also convenient to Cruise Central. Was quiet neighborhood except for train tracks nearby but host had left ear plugs and that was a nice touch. Also left breakfast bars that was very appreciated. Thanks for letting us stay at your charming home.

Great house
We really enjoyed our stay at your house. The property was conveniently located and easy walk to the beach. The house was squeaky clean and very comfortable on a quiet street. We will definitely stay there again when we are in Gulfport.

Barry's Surprise
This was our second stay here and we enjoyed it as much as we did the first time. The home is precious and inviting. It is well stocked with items you wouldn't even think of! My only complaint would be that dang train that rolls through in the middle of the night :( But they do provide earplugs for you!!

Felt just like home!
I took my family to visit my son stationed at Kessler AFB. I would pick my son up everyday and come back to the cottage where we would all have a home cooked meal together. Even though the cottage was rented for a short time, it felt like home for my briefly reunited family! I would definitely recommend to anyone else visiting a loved one stationed at Kessler AFB.

More comfy than home
The cottage was just as charming as the pictures made out neatly tucked away in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to the beach. The layout of the home was perfect for the family where privacy could be accommodated and at the same time plenty of room for gathering on the deck, in the spacious livingroom, or quietly reading in the sitting room. It felt like there was a space for everyone in whatever mood they happen to be in. After such a comfortable stay, I cannot see our family traveling by hotel ever again if we can help it! This VRBO had us planning next year's vacation when we return to Gulfport. It is easily situated between tourist attractions, private neighborhoods, and city accommodations. I enjoyed the natural habitats of squirrels and birds and all the vegetation of the surrounding the property. Even though the train that traveled the rails was noticeable at night, strangely it did not bother us in the least. The kitchen was well stocked with an assortment of household goods, but the dryer had sharp plastic snags on the inside of the door that caught several clothing items and made rips in the fabric. I would recommend that the owner replace as the laundry ammenities is key to attracting traveling families coming and going from the beach. I think my favorite aspect of the home was the careful attention given to all the book titles on all the shelves and the mix of overhead lighting and traditional lamps for a warm atmosphere.

Gulfport aquarium camp
Perfect location to drop off the kids at the aquarium for camp. Easy walk to the beach to enjoy the sun and sand. Many attractions and easy to find food in the area. The kitchen was stocked with snacks and coffee. Plenty of dinnerware and pots and pans. Games and books for our enjoyment were available also.

Great time in Gulfport
This beach house was perfect for our group of 7. With three young children, hotel rooms get small very fast - it was nice to have space to hang out but also get separation when needed. This home was clean, beautifully decorated, close to everything and overall lovely! The host was great with recommendations and responding to questions. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Overall the stay was great. Great location and the host was very responsive and helpful. The place on first glance looked pretty clean, main areas etc but there were a few spots that were left unattended simply because there was a small piece of furniture or something else in the way (example the kitchen trashcan which had a ton of sand behind it and food from the previoius attendants). Which is in no reflection of the host but the cleaners they hired. Would still stay again and overallwould recommend

Beautiful Home
This is a lovely property perfect for a family beach getaway. The house was very clean and comfortable. I enjoyed the large porch and sunroom. I will look forward to staying here again during my next Gulfport visit

This was our second stay at this home when we visit Gulfport for my husband and sons travel baseball team. Its a great location, clean, cute as can be! Doordash and instacart delivers as well which is always a huge plus! Jeri the owner is awesome and communicates well.

Third time not a charm
Let me start by saying this was our third time renting this property. Apparently it is under new management. The first thing upon arriving we had to unload the dishwasher and sweep front and back porch. That night while we began to take baths we noticed no bath mats in either bathroom (accident waiting to happen)and only 8 towels total. When we headed to bed all 3 beds were missing. We slept on a mattress protector in King bed. One guest room had wore out sheet with no top sheet. There were no blankets or extra sheets to be found anywhere. The next morning we could not find a remote for on of the televisions. These things were all unexseptable. We let the owner know about these things that we thought would be handled immediately. We finally had to call and ask for sheets. The owner apologized and promised a credit in form of a refund. Time went on with no credit. We emailed and was assured they were working on it. Finally I emailed one last time and was told it was VBRO that was the problem. So they would cut me a private check and mail it to me. It is April 16, 2024 still have not recieved any kind of refund. I would of just blew it off if when contacting owner 3 or 4 times, she just coming up with one excuse after another. Acting defensively when I complained. Bad business & an unfortunate loss. I actually read through the comments and complaints left by others and saw some rude and uncalled for responces from the owner again. Not being apologetic but having excuses.
