Home away from home
Always a great stay. Have stayed for many years, walk in, instant relaxation. It's our go to and always will be. We love it here. Thank you for keeping the price as is for a well deserved getaway. Sean and family are beautiful people. The little touches like kitchen items, soaps and more linen than you can poke a stick at. Thank you for all you do, you are so loved and appreciated

How’s the serenity
We were in town for a friends wedding so staying only a few minutes from the reception was perfect. Very relaxing with all the comforts from home plus more. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing break.

Amazing stay once again!
We have stayed here quite a few times now we love it it’s a great break away from city life. The dogs love having a swim and running around which they don’t get to do when we’re home. This is one of our favorite places to visit and stay! Thanks Sean !

Our getaway at Gunbower
Was a great get away for us and our dogs. Plenty of land for pups to run around.plenty of beds to sleep in, had all the amenities there, wood for fire pit. Dogs area is decent but like our dogs they have anxiety if they can’t see us. If all fencing was chicken wired off would have been better as we had the cows come right up to our property which was nice to see but not for our dogs! Overall was a fabulous stay, would highly recommend it.

The Grove Gunbower
We had a very enjoyable stay in this country home. It was full of old world charm and character, and yet modern in the right places - great shower, comfortable beds, large TV with streaming, and an excellent indoor fireplace. We loved the beautiful and peaceful garden area around the house, the views of animals in paddocks, the abundant bird life and the proximity of the creek. The outdoor loo brought back some fun memories too. Thanks Sean and family for a terrific experience.

Beautiful place to stay
My family and I were fairly impressed with this beautiful rustic property. It was super functional and has everything and more that we wanted. We loved the animals and little personalised touches linking back to the history of the Richards family. Sean was was absolutely amazing and super responsive, which made the stay more special. Love love love this place and will definitely be back :)

No fuss comfortable retreat
The Grove has everything which you could possibly need, including a toasty fire for those cold nights. It's no frills accomodation in a great location and the host provides friendly and thoughtful service. I will certainly return.

Nature paradise just a few feet away
We enjoyed our three day stay, very comfy beds, everything there that we needed to cook our dinner. Great tv with Stan and Amazon. But the beauty of the Grove is that the bird life, and creek across the road is so very special.

Perfect farm-stay experience!
We had hoped for a getaway experience where we could relax with our 2 dogs and experience a farm stay. What we got far exceeded our expectations! The yard was perfectly secure for our little Houdini, whilst being large enough for the soccer-mad staffy. The home was like stepping back into our grandparents’ home - with all the love and cleanliness and personal touches. But it had lovely modern surprises, including a smart TV and a huge updated bathroom! Our host had prepped the open fire to the point it just needed a lit match… with plenty of spare wood to see us through an ice age! The kitchen was well equipped, (loved the sandwich toaster!) But you can’t go past the famous steak meal at the Gunny pub! Worth every penny! Loved the town, loved the comfy bed, loved the views, loved the Gunbower people… will definitely be coming back! And will, most definitely want to stay here again!

Old but clean and tidy. Functional kitchen, split sytems in 2 bedrooms and lounge (which flowed into kitchen). 2 TV'S ( one with movies, sport etc). In all, comfortable.

Relaxtion Plus!
This is the second time that our family has stayed at one of the farm stay properties. We were not disappointed. The property was absolutely amazing boasting a fantastic location with serene water views peeking through the trees from the front yard, close proximity and a good walk or pushbike ride to the local cafe (a must visit for the best home - made pies, treats and great coffee), pub and roadhouse, a securely fenced yard for dogs and everything you really could ask for, including kayaks and a basketball ring. All basic cooking utensils / amenities are provided including drinking water. The outdoor seating area is beautiful, tucked away at the front of the house where you can spend hours overlooking the lush green garden and beautiful trees. Firewood is also provided for the indoor fireplace and there is also an outdoor fire pit and BBQ. There is a boat ramp within a few hundred metres where you can launch your fishing boat. A comfortable getaway to unwind and relax with your entire family including your fur babies. Sean was excellent with his communication.

Peace and tranquility.
We had a wonderful, peaceful and relaxing 10 days at "The Grove". This charming and quirky old farmhouse had all we needed for our stay. The "loo with a view" out the back was a blast from the past for us. Great bathroom with plenty of room and the best shower. We especially appreciated the secure back yard for our 2 little "fur kids" and they had a great time pretending to be farm dogs. We even caught some fish. Thank you to Sean and the Richards family for making their property available, especially for those of us who prefer to holiday with their dogs. Highly recommend to anyone needed a break from their busy life. Sean is very approachable and quick to reply to queries and we hope to return in the future.

Wonderf place
A truly unique and wonderful place, old world charm , comfy and welcoming property, the energy of the garden and gum trees are really special, my dogs loved it as did I, the whistling kites were special to , we will be back for sure and cannot wait, A big thankyou to owners for sharing this special place!!
