"Everything was clean and tidy with lovely big windows for letting the cool breeze in.I also enjoyed the outdoor patio area where I could sit with my cuppa and read my book.the host also had a selection of books available if you were interested."

"The photos of this property do not match. On arrival the building had broken glass taped up, no direction where to find a key, no support with trying to contact for help. Car park had people being erratic. Room itself smelt of smokers. The bed was ruffled. The bottom sheet not ironed. Paint was coming off the walls in the rooms. Although it was comfortable there was still a number of issues that were relayed to the estate agent. eg Scalding hot water, failure of air conditioning, leaking washing machine, and kitchen mixer tap broke off in my hand. The estate agent was right on to everything. It was walking distance of Yamba Fair shopping centre."

All 3 bedroom have aircon and we had a comfortable nights rest on a hot humid day. Bathroom was clean and spacious. Host was very kind and thoughtful to keep necessary item in the house to make our stay stress free. "

"The house is amazing - historic and yet feels like home. Well stocked kitchen with everything you could need. The breakfast items and little touches were very welcome, including having a Christmas tree to decorate with family. Pool was very welcome given the warm weather. Would stay again."

"Such a beautiful and private location. The home is lovely and the grounds are outstanding, with chickens, rabbits, geese, peacocks and kangaroos to keep you company. Close to Yamba and local beaches, a perfect escape. Hosts and caretaker were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!!!"

This is a shame as it would be so easy to improve. Paying over $2,000 for six nights I expected more than one toilet roll provided (no spare).
