"Lodge was nice. It’s older but they are doing their very best to maintain. Gardens and trees were mature. Pretty! Monkeys were fun to watch as they played and clambered through the trees. Food was good but limited options. Breakfast that was included was really good! Staff were kind and helpful. Shop was small, some souvenirs. Rooms were clean, some tiny and some much bigger even though we paid same rate 2 different stays (before and after our Kili climb). It met our needs for sure of a quiet...

"The property is at a high level of accommodation for the area, however, broken fixtures and leaking toilets across the bathroom floor were issues we faced. "Brubru Lodge is amazing. The rooms are beautiful, the pool and garden is so clean and pretty. We had an amazing stay. Breakfast was delicious and we had dinner one day there it was really good as well. Its possible to get a transfer to the airport but it was quite expensive (70 dollar). To the main centre of moshi it takes you 25minutes by feet. It’s a perfect place to relax. "

"This is probably the nicest hotel in central Moshi for Europeans on their first trip to the region. You have to remember that this is Africa and things don't always work but on balance this is a good safe place to stay. Once lesson for us was we were pretty much the only Europeans in the town, trekkers and safari people tend to stay outside, so be prepared, this is a busy African town not a tourist place"
