Lovely jungle top escape!
Our stay was fantastic at the bread and breakfast! The property and views were stunning! There was so much information for us about the surrounding area when we arrived and the service and bungalow were top notch! Perfect for a couple or family! We would definitely stay again!

Paradise within Paradise
Our hosts, Brigitte & Dave were extremely welcoming. The property exceeded our expectations in many ways: 1. The neighborhood was very peaceful, and quiet. 2. The multiple local trees, flowers, and well maintained lawn provided a garden-like feel to our stay. The partial view of the Pacific Ocean was the icing on the cake! 3. The cottage itself had everything and more, that we needed to facilitate our stay. We would definitely stay here again!

Super clean, thoughtful touches. Quiet and private, great view. Only would have liked a living room sofa, there were only two small rattan chairs so no useful living room. But other than that a lovely stay. Nice bed and bedding.

Heaven on Maui
The owners of this beautiful cottage take great pride and lengths to make your stay comfortable. The views are amazing, the cleanliness is a 10+, and has all the amenities one could need. The welcoming basket of fresh fruit, nuts, and coffee is over the top! I can’t wait to return.

Beautiful, clean & quiet
North Shore Ocean View was the perfect getaway. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful. The home was very clean and well stocked with anything you may need or or have forgotten, including first aid supplies, sunscreen and beach gear. Brigitte & Dave were very friendly and welcoming. They were available to answer any questions and give recommendations on local attractions and food. When we were at the house, we spent a lot of time on the two lanais that overlooked the ocean and scenic backyard. We will definitely stay again if we have the chance and recommend to friends!

This is a beautiful house, the property and the view are fantastic. The hosts were extremely nice, helpful, and considerate. The property is very well-appointed, especially in the kitchen. The location is convenient to shopping, including grocery, within a 10-15 minute drive. It is also a few blocks to the Hana Highway. Our stay couldn't have been any better!

Anniversary celebration
We had an amazing time in Maui and this property was everything we could have hoped for. The beautiful views, peaceful surroundings, comfortable master bed and beach equipment exceeded expectations. The best overall rental property we've stayed at while on vacation. Cottage is completely separate from the hosts' home on site, with landscaping almost completely blocking the view between the cottage and the home. Beautiful tropical surroundings. Distant view of the ocean. Sunrise colors can be seen from the master bed. Sunset can be seen (somewhat) through the treeline to the west while on the master patio. Quiet, serene, private, and off the grid. Outdoor shower was a big plus. Cottage is beautifully decorated, immaculately clean, and well-equipped (and then some). Very close to Road to Hana; restaurants in Paia or upcountry are within a convenient 10-15 minute drive. Gives the feel of what it's like to live on Maui; a great base for exploring what Maui has to offer. Gracious and communicative hosts. We enjoyed the bananas they hand-picked for us, and some other goodies they provided. Only negative is that the cottage does not have air conditioning, as many homes in this part of Maui do not. The first night we got there, the cottage was unpleasantly hot, but after letting in the cool morning air the next day - and leaving the windows perpetually open for the rest of the week - it became tolerable, albeit still too warm for our tastes. (They do have ceiling fans and an extra table fan that were very helpful. Outdoor temps were in the mid 80's while we were there.)

An amazing stay
We loved everything about the house. Spotless, surprisingly very well equipped, some basic supplies at disposal (very convenient when you travel), all you need to go to the beach that you can borrow. The open kitchen is incredibly nice and it is a pleasure to prepare the meals. The master bedroom has a unique view, day and night : you can stare at the stars from the bed… you almost never want to fall asleep, waiting for the daylight.. Master bathroom very big and in excellent condition. All is in perfect conditions, very well maintained, very clean. Dave and Brigitte welcomed us as we were friends… and in 10 days we became friends. We loved their care, constant attention, concern of making our vacation unforgettable. It has been. Highly recommended if you look for a little remote place, a little away from the crowd, to fully appreciate the Maui spirit.

We had a lovely three night stay with our 12 year old. The property and views were relaxing and a nice change of pace as we came from a 5 night stay at a resort in Wailea. Amazing Spot
What a wonderful stay we had here! It was perfect for us. So clean and organized. Brigette and Dave had everything we could need. The spot is so pretty and serene. The views from every window were so beautiful. You just lay in bed and are so relaxed and at peace. Super close to an awesome store/cafe (Jaws). We couldn’t have picked a better spot! Mahalo for the memories!!! P.S Do not fret about no a/c!! We came here n June and it was great. The bed wS also soooo comfortable!! This is a YES, Do it!!

Beautiful country get away!
My husband and I stayed here for the first part of our honeymoon and loved this cottage as our home base. The upcountry area reminded us of home (Durango, CO). It was very quite and felt very safe. The home was very clean and cozy, it was great place to recharge after a day of exploring the island. Easy access to all the cute country towns (Haiku, Paia and Makawoa) and right off the road to Hana! We never had a chance to meet the hosts to live on the property but they were very kind and offered so many adventure and restaurant recommendations. If you are looking to stay here be mindful that there isn’t much for cell service up there, which we didn’t mind and enjoyed time to unplug. There is great WiFi but making calls out weren’t an option. There is a landline though so if you do need to make a call you can. We would definitely love to stay here again on our next Maui vacation. Thank you Brigitte & Dave for sharing your beautiful home and property.
