"We were amazed at the lovely grounds and spacious house. As we had a gathering of our adult children it was lovely to be able to spread out but gather under the large under cover outdoor area. We played pingpong in the game room, hung out next to the river but mainly used the house as base camp to explore the region. The garden is big and secure, so doggy could run free. The garden also supplied us with veges, lettuce cherry tomatoes, spring onions and more. (I wish my tomatoes grew that...

"Everything you could ever want is here :) It was all so neat and tidy. It is a lovely, quiet location. To open up the curtains in the morning to the ocean and the Southern Alps is just breathtaking, not to mention seeing dolphins in the bay as well. It was a shame to have to go home and we would definitely want to stay here should we ever be down that way again. An absolutely amazing place to stay :)"

"We loved the area and our stay here. If we happen to be in Kaikoura again we would definitely choose to stay here again. It was warm, comfortable, quiet, helpful, responsive and beautiful views from our front windows of the landscape. There was easy parking, check-in and check out.
