Christmas Trip

Perfect location for a family get-together
Brian was an excellent host. Communicated all the pertinent details ahead of time, and check-in was seamless. We came out from around the country to celebrate my sister's pregnancy, and this was the perfect place to do it. The house was well-stocked with plates, silverware, and cookware, as well as a toaster and Keurig. It was clean and felt very homey - my 5 yo daughter felt right at home with the kid-friendly toys and books and kid's playset. The location can't be beat. Short walk to Surfer's Beach with a nice bike/walking path right in front of the house. The hot tub was set up for us, but we were so busy catching up as a family and walking along the beach that we didn't get a chance to enjoy it! We did sit out in the backyard at night, as it's tastefully done with ample seating and private. Would look at staying here again when my sister has her baby in a few months!

Wonderful vacation
The house was perfect for our family. Great view and lots of room for our boys to run. The whole yard is inclosed so I felt comfortable letting my 5 year old roam while I relaxed. I was worried that it would be loud because it was right off the highway but at night the traffic is minimal so it wasn’t a problem

Lovely Coastal Get Away
My family and I had a wonderful stay. The house is lovely, nicely laid out and offers plenty of room for a family to unwind and spend time together. Backyard is spacious, private - a nice area to relax at the end of your day. We walked to The Barn and enjoyed the family style picnic dining. Coastal bluff walk is close by.

Relaxing Weekend Get Away!
The entire property was absolutely beyond my expectations, and the photos truly do not do it justice. We were in town for a wedding and the location of the property was beyond convenient. The beds were comfortable, everything in the home and yard was immaculate, everything we needed for cooking was present.Check in and check out instructions were clear and easy to follow. The property could easily be enjoyed for guests of all ages, there were conveniences for children as well. This was an adult only weekend, but definitely considering a stay next summer with the littles as I know they would absolutely enjoy it as well. Thank you for opening your home for others to enjoy!

We loved the big sunny living room, large kitchen, the hot tub, and nicely redone bathrooms. The double bed and queen bed were both comfortable. The owners were very responsive and pleasant to work with.

Quiet retreat 30min from San Francisco
Family of four had an amazing 6-night trip to HMB. If you are traveling and plan on driving a car, why bother with a hotel that almost definitely charges for valet or at least parking. Anyone who plans to explore the full Bay Area will love this spot. You are in range of everything in San Francisco, including a beautiful drive through Pacifica. You are also in range of many beach areas south and only 45min from Santa Cruz - we even spent a day in Monterey. Half Moon Bay is also worth a stay on its own merits, with great food and beaches - from the house you can walk to 3-4 amazing restaurants and the beach if that’s your main thing. The downtown has another handful of great restaurants only 5min away. The house is beautiful and clean. We stopped at the local farmers market on Saturdays for fresh fruit and made a few meals in house. The rooms are great, also clean, and plenty of room for up to a family of five or six. Brian provided plenty of towels, dishes, anything you could need. We would love to come back. This was one of the best house rentals we’ve ever stayed in.

Great property and great host!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Brian's beautiful property! The house was so clean and spacious and well stocked with everything we needed. The backyard was a great little private escape with a hot tub, comfortable seating and inviting lighting. The view of the ocean from the front windows was an added bonus. The location was close to restaurants, groceries and other amenities. We loved it so much we wanted to stay longer! Just as important as the property is the host and one of things I consider when picking a place to stay. Brian was an excellent host. From the very beginning, Brian was extremely responsive, helpful and friendly. We so appreciate his attentiveness. Thank you, Brian! We highly recommended this place!

A lovely find
This place is very ample. Lots of stuff for kids to do, but well appointed. Being able to see the water from the house was awesome, and the location is really great. We used it as a hub for trip to San Fran and Monterey, but we also spent some time right there. Half Moon Bay is a cute town, but right by the house is a surfers’ beach and great places to enjoy the coast. Hot tub was awesome too, except now the kids want one! Brian was a great host and very communicative.

Beautiful
Great house in a very good location. House has been beautifully updated, the master bathroom is like a spa. Cute back yard area to hang out with a large hottub. Close to downtown HMB and the Marina. Would stay again and will most likely make this a yearly getaway.

It was awesome. Brian was very responsive. We were allowed to check in early. The hot tub was a bonus. My only suggestion is to provide an ironing board and iron as we were attending a wedding down the street.

Beautiful House with a Beautiful View
Our recent stay at this beautifully remodeled vacation rental was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we walked in, it was clear that the home was meticulously cared for, boasting modern and stylish interiors that made our stay extremely comfortable. The location of the rental could not be more ideal. Nestled within walking distance to both the pristine beach and local restaurants, it offered convenience along with stunning views that were a joy to wake up to every morning. Whether we were in the mood for a beach day or a casual dining experience, everything was just a short stroll away. For those traveling with children, this place is a treasure trove of activities. The backyard is equipped with a variety of toys, a ping pong table, and a swing set, which kept the kids entertained for hours. The highlight for both kids and adults, however, was the amazing backyard complete with a luxurious hot tub. It provided the perfect setting for relaxation after a day of adventure. Brian, the host, was phenomenal. His attention to detail and proactive communication ensured a seamless experience from check-in to check-out. He was accommodating and available to answer any questions we had, making us feel well taken care of throughout our stay. Cleanliness is always a top priority for us, and this rental met all our expectations and more. It was probably the cleanest and nicest vacation rental we have encountered to date, and we've seen quite a few!

Perfect easy stay
My adult daughter, her best friend and I came for 3 of the most relaxing days we have ever had. When the beach was windy we could still get sun in the backyard protected. The hot tub was clean and modern. And the Sushi place within walking distance was delicious. Our car didn’t leave the driveway! Thank you for the cozy home!

Wonderful property
Very impressed the first night I was enjoying the property so much I said I wish I could stay here a week. My grand children 5 & 7 years old had a marvelous time running up and down the small hill to play on the swing set. I liked how they took an older home and renovated it with recessed lighting, beautiful kitchen counters and the wood floors are very inviting. Lover the wood beams in the living room ceiling. The house has a lot of character. Fun to just sit in the living room watching the kids play on the swing as I enjoyed the incredible ocean view. We had some other plans to explore but cancelled them and just enjoyed the wonderful home. We had a lot of fun playing pingpong and Fuzzball in the garage. Thanks for opening your property to us.
