"We enjoyed our relaxing stay at the Moose’s View. It was a perfect location for exploring Homer, close to town, yet far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. It was very comfortable and clean, and had everything we needed for our three night stay. We loved the beautiful view of the Homer Spit, Katchemak Bay, and the surrounding mountains. We saw bald eagles and moose from the living room window, and sandhill cranes in the neighbor’s yard. We look forward to staying here again on our next visit...

"The cabin was so beautiful, as was the surrounding property. We saw moose behind the cabin both nights we were there. Very thoughtful of our hosts to stock the pantry with plenty of everything. It was nice being able to do some laundry while we were there. The gravel road we had to take was super rough in one area, but no big deal - just take it very slow if you have a small car."

"House was okay. Some things didn’t work or was not as described but still was okay place to stay. Easy to walk to any restaurants and grocery stores, which made it convenient. Hate that everything is nickel and dimed - including the additional adults, even though there are three bedrooms. Once more people stay there, place will get better as more things will get fixed. Super nice that they gave us dog bowls and bed!"

"We loved staying here for our first trip to Alaska! The location is just unbeatable. We saw bald eagles and sea otters right from the front deck. Easy to park and we loved the access to ask the shops and the boats for our excursions. Seeing the fish get processed out back was so cool and yes you can hear a little noise from the Saloon behind the rental but it did not bother us at all. Highly recommend!!"

"This was a very unique place to stay in Homer. A bit noisy with the cafe next door, but not bad after it closed. Very nicely decorated and overall very comfortable. Upstairs was very quiet and had nice room darkening shades as it never really gets dark in AK in the summer. It was a little weird getting used to going outside to access the upstairs, but thats perfect if you have older kids or another couple. Would definitley stay again!!! Saw a big cluster of sea otters in the bay!!"

"The accommodation is very good, you have all things you need to cook, but we had the rainy season, the end of August 2023, and it is very difficult to go to the bathroom or the common area, there are a lot of puddles. In the A- frame you don’t have wifi you have to ho to common area"
