The Pleasant stay motel Manager lie to me and refused to book me in. First the lady at front desk talld me that Expedia cancelled my reservation, then she Change story and said that they try to manually run my credit card into muchine the card decline she said, which is not true my credit card from Navy Federal and perfectly fine. I talk with her Manager over the phone the guy was very rude and lie, he said that they try to charge my card but decline, and I talld him how you charging card you don't even have I just arrived. You sell my room for Higher price to some budy else, you can't do that you disrespected me. I have reservation and confirmation, he said go find another hotel, just lke that. The time was midnight and cold temperature was about 2C*. I suffer that night, I was coming from Belleville, Ontario, and I was very tiyerd and slipy. I contact Expedia it took about 1hour 40 minutes hold and conversation. but I end up sleeping in my car at Hamilton, Ontario. This is my story with Pleasant stay motel. My advice to this motel is this: shame on you, and please change the motel name to UNPLEASANT STAY Motel.

Yes, this is an older motel...but very clean
Perfect little motel for the over night stay. Who needs high end when you need to get up really early for the airport. The bed was very comfortable and clean. The beat works and the little bathroom was tidy. Staff was very friendly and Wi-Fi works great.

The rooms were very old but clean. Anybody taller than 5'6 will have problems using the toilet properly due to it's close proximity to the wall. Close to Ancaster Fairgrounds.

We wanted an inexpensive place to sleep overnight while attending a workshop in Brantford. That's what we got.

Overpriced local love shack?
If you are not picky and sleep like a rock anywhere it's ok place for one night sleep in desperate need, however for 60$ night it's over priced and extra 10$ for a dog! Never again, especially when you can hear the neighbours way too well trough the walls at night. Bathroom is so tiny that a larger person would probably not even fit in, and is literally falling apart. Does not look like the building is up to code, more like fixed up by some person who had only half idea what they were doing. Anyway, we survived a night but I will rather drive next time a bit further for a better quality place.

Very old room, bed was more of a double instead of queen, 2 pillows were flat as pancakes, why even bother supplying them?Shower water ran so slow it took over 30 minutes to get washed. Very tight and uncomfortable. We are not picky, we stay in motels quite often as we are on the road all the time as truck drivers, this room needs major improvement.

Is not the first time that we're going to this motel.The rooms are clean and confortables.Beds are clean.not to much amities but nice.nice little town and far from all the noise from the city.The owner of the place is not very nice and can be very rude sometimes.over all is a nice place

It was a very quaint and outdated but home like room. The front desk personnel was fantastic. I would definitely go there again.

great place for the price
I really enjoyed staying here. it is quiet and away from the whistle and bustle of the city. Tim Horton, Starbucks and other amenities 3 mins down the road. excellent heat, nice firm bed, pet friendly. Room smelled a hit funky, but then again it is also a smoking room, wifi is weak, but that is normal with hotels I have found. front desk was very nice and pleasant.

-friendly staff -clean and quiet -slept well -wi-fi didn't work 75% of the time. -nothing in walking distance, good shopping/eating area ~7 min drive away

For the price, condition was reasonable, clean enough but run down. Would probably not stay again but for one night just to sleep it was fine.

La poignée de la porte d'entrée est très difficile à ouvrir et à fermer et le loquet de sécurité n'y est plus. La porte de la salle de bains ne ferme pas au complet. Douche seulement ( pas de bain). Pas de serviette à main. Matelas ferme et taché. Literie propre. Chambre vieillotte et usée. Le tapis ne se rend pas jusqu'au bord du mur. Pas de cafetière et pas de café à la réception. Pas de cadran ni de shampoing. Pour s'asseoir dans la chambre, une seule chaise pliante en plastique. Motel sur une route de campagne sans services, sans commerces autour. Le wi-fi ne rentre à peu près pas. Alors qu'on devait payer à notre arrivée, le montant de la chambre avait déjà été débité de notre carte de crédit avant notre arrivée en fin d'après-midi. Je ne le recommande pas, même pour une nuit. À éviter!

Basic but a deal
A word of advice: Call the hotel to make sure they have your online booking! Hotels.com sent me a confirmation right away and even four days ahead sent all the info I needed at my fingertips like check in times and the address. We get there, have to ring a buzzer as the office door is always locked, and a lady looked at us surprised when we said we were here for our room. She pulled out a book and her reservations were all penciled in. I explained I booked through Hotels.com and show her my confirmation number showing a reservation for a non-smoking room. She made some calls while we stood there wondering if we had a room or not. Finally she confirmed she had one (there aren't many anyway so I'm not sure why she couldn't tell us right away that she had one) She only had a smoking room and after looking at it and opening windows and her offering a discount, we took it. But then she made another call and left us standing there before giving us the key and she was speaking another language so we didn't know if she was still calling about our room. We spoke up and she smiled and handed us the key and returned to the phone. Clean room but basic and for the price, expected. No coffee maker but a fridge. Not even any little shampoos but the shower floor had broken tiles and I wasn't using it anyway. So like I said, call ahead to avoid delay and confusion and you'll get a cheap room that you know the sheets have been fleshly bleached.

The TV did not work. The signal would freeze . Even though the room was for two people we only got one key. I thought I had forgotten it inside so asked office for another one....TEN dollars....to look inside my room it was another ten dollars. I refused to pay it and did find my key. definitely a money grab motel. No dead bolts on the door. The bathroom door wouldn't even close and the comfy tv chair was a plastic lawn chair...no I would never go back

Cheap but adequate motel
Needed a motel near Hamilton for a conference; all rooms in Hamilton were taken. This motel was 20 minutes by car away from the site. It was simple and came at the right price. The furniture was minimal, but the ceramic tile gave it a special character.
