"Overall decent little cabin location mared by storage units in front of the property, never mentioned in the ad. Was a little bit noiseyfrom the business. Overall cleanliness was good, check in and out was quick and easy. A leaf blower would have made his a literal home run but wasn’t horrible. The floors are part of the charm of an old cabin. These are CHARMing no doubt lol."

"A great place to return to after a busy day out. I was looking for a place to relax and this home was PERFECT! Listening to the water out the back was a wonderful addition to my morning coffee on the deck. Richard and Diane are wonderful hosts and were available my entire time for anything I needed and were more than helpful with my needs. A wonderful stay and highly recommend!"

"We have stayed in Sugar Mtn countless times over the decades, both in houses and condos, and we thoroughly enjoyed this round house. It was clean and well-stocked and having two toilets upstairs was nice. My husband and I (in our 60's) stayed in the basement in the bunk beds, a first, and we have never experienced a spiral staircase like that! "My teen daughters and I stayed here 4 nights and used the cabin as a home base for a service project. The cabin was a comfy safe haven for us when we were none weary and sore! "The house was in an amazing location and there were plenty of attractions within a short drive of the house. John was the most helpful host we have ever worked with, he was easily accessible the entire weekend and called to welcome us upon arrival. "We were at Beech Mountain fora weekend wedding & made a short vacation by bringing our 15 yr old dog. We went on long walks and found local restaurants to be very good! We loved the privacy because I had 100 family members in town for a wedding. Only gave location a 4 because of the winding roads to and from town. We are seniors and managed them fine, Would return in summer or winter .Highly recommend!"

"We traveled with some friends to Blowing Rock to celebrate my husband’s birthday. John was wonderful to work with! Very responsive and welcoming! We even had to go back to pick up an item we left behind and John was so easy to reach! The house was the perfect set up with plenty of space to spread out. The location was great. Very close to both Boone and Blowing Rock. I wish we could have stayed a few more days! We can’t wait to come back and visit again. "
