"Our stay at the Hawk's Nest was all we hoped it would be! It was clean, spacious and the perfect setting for what we were looking for. The hosts Jeff and Carol, were fantastic and very accommodating. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and help us with anything that we needed. And as was fitting, we saw numerous hawks during our stay -they picked a perfect name for their location. "We enjoyed our stay, I was a bit surprised that the house was an older mobile home. The property was awesome! Once we got in and settled, we discovered that the hot water in the master didn’t work very well, the two blue rocking chairs in the living room had a bad order and with 6 people we could have used some more toilet paper. One roll for each bathroom was not enough. Even with these small issues we still enjoyed our stay. Thank you Jeff"

"The owner of this house does live there, which to be fair I don't enjoy that set up. There was an attempt to clean the house, but more of covering it will good smells then scrubbing. The downstairs bathroom had a very strong odor of old urine, the pots and pans in the open shelves had layers of grease. The overall smell of fabuloso was so strong we all had a headache the first night. The upstairs shower drains very slowly. The house does have a nice layout. The bedding was clean. The two rooms...

"A little on the older side. The bathroom was quite dark. Some of the fixtures and carpet is old. The second floor I've machine didn't work. Having said that, the staff are very friendly and helpful. They have many common areas, complimentary drinks and cookies, and a really nice breakfast. I ordered room service a couple of nights, and the food was very good. Close to shopping, restaurants and the university. Overall, i would probably stay here again. "
