"Everything was very nice. The kitchen is located on the second floor and has everything one could need. There is plenty of room for having a big family dinner. The yard is quite large which our dogs appreciated. There is no fence around the yard but it wasn’t an issue for us. We would happily stay here again. "

"Great place to stay for the weekend. Place was quiet and peaceful. The house furnished well with great amenities. Fishing and kayaking from off the dock. Also life jackets available for the kids for safety as well. Catching crabs off the docks, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding. The house has nice deck in the back where we enjoyed morning coffee and afternoon and evening activities playing corn hole, and spent good time sitting in front of fire pit was great. "I would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway! The hosts were just lovely! They were very informative and helpful all around!Check in was super easy! Fully stocked pantry and amenities! "This was our third trip to this house.....we love the location, it is private and picturesque...we got to see the bald eagles again!!!!!! WE love the 30 second walk to the beach and the calm water of the bay! The local environment is also beautiful...especially the towns of White Stone and Kilmarnock and the local marinas. "Tthe history of the property itself was amazing. Not to mention the surrounding area. The house was near to the community but also far enough out to be very quiet and peaceful. We loved the open floor plan of the main level but if you have issues with mobility, accessing the stairs to the second floor may be an issue. "

"This house has beautiful views and it was only about 45 min to Williamsburg. It is on Hills Bay, which flows into the Chesapeake Bay. The water is very shallow and would be great for younger kids. We brought kayaks and enjoyed our time on the water. It would be fantastic for someone that owns a boat too. The water doesn’t have many waves, but we tied a party size float to part of the dock and all the kids, ages 10-19, loved our time there. Since I’m the first review, I think I might be the first...
