"Property is right in the heart of Hahndorf. We were given an upstairs apartment. Not the best if you have large suitcases. The stairway is inside the apartments. Lovely shower although our showerhead needed a good clean and descale. Otherwise all good. Have stayed before and would stay again in a downstairs apartment."

"Incredibly relaxing stay! Bed was very comfortable (great for my bad back) fireplace in the Lounge Room with lovely outdoor bath was fantastic. I simply loved having a sauna inside the bathroom. When we arrived, we saw our little welcome pack with breakfast provisions for the first day and feed so we could feed the cows, goats and alpacas on the property. "

We found it a welcoming place to relax and enjoy the established extensive gardens around the retreat.The little touches made it special-a full fruit bowl, fresh milk , a variety of breakfast cereals, fresh coffees and a variety of teas etc. Kate and Andy were very welcoming - - thank you for the delicious homemade berry jam and fresh homegrown rhubarb. "This unit is located just on the outskirts of Mt Pleasant in a beautiful setting. Located on a property, with lots of trees, greenery and bird life. Beautifully kept grounds. Our dog was very welcome with a bed & bowl supplied. Being able to have him with us is really important to us now as he is nearly 16 and not in best health. Would certainly recommend. "

"We had an upstairs room and did request a room upgrade if available which we did not get. Would have been a good time for them to have done it as they were doing huge renovations in their poker room which affected their entry and reception area. It will be wonderful in a few weeks or months I guess. We had a beef schnitzel with Dianne gravy and a small side salad and chips for tea which was probably a little bit overpriced but very nice. The girl that greeted us at the hotel was very friendly...
