Clean and cozy
This home was a great place to stay for our weekend at the Cape. Very clean and put together with an excellent location. This is a great spot for small groups or even a family.

The cottage was charming and somewhat updated kitchen bathrooms were good. Biggest problem was that most bedrooms were in the attic and no bathrooms upstairs Both bathrooms were downstairs but you had to make a journey around the place to get to the second one off of kitchen. There were two sets of stairs one was like a ladder and the other one had a very short handle and steps were not standard or wide enough to put your foot down properly and that made it unsafe and dangerous. I have small feet but found it most inconvenient to walk up or down specially having to go to the bathroom late at night walking through another person’s bedroom to get to the main stairs. It could also do with a gas fireplace it rained all throughout our stay and it was extremely damp and smelled of humidity. Couldn’t have stayed longer than I did 4 nights max. Otherwise 5 minute walk to Wequasette resort which was the main reason I rented this place

Not great…
We stayed here for 3 nights and this property is as bare bones as it gets. I was really disappointed with the property as soon as I walked in. Shout out to whoever took the pictures of the property that are posted online, they should get a raise. There are no amenities inside the property, I couldn’t even find a broom to clean up a spill. Zero cleaning supplies. Half of the house has an odor that made it so we couldn’t use the living room where the primary entrance is. The outlets in both bathrooms do not work. The entry door on the far side of the house where the stairs are can’t be opened, creating a hazard for anyone on that side of the house if they had to get out in the event of an emergency. Most of the windows in the house are screwed shut or are unable to be opened. There is toilet paper stuffed around the air conditioner in the kitchen to fill in the gaps on the sides. As we were packing up to leave this morning, someone from Del Mar showed up and started cleaning the property before we were even out. This was before the check out time. I would not stay here again and I don’t think I would use Del Mar to rent a property. The fees associated with the rental aren’t worth it.

Lovely cottage in a great location
The three of us and the two dogs had a lovely stay at this authentic look and feel Cape cottage. Great location on 28 near Chatham/ Harwich/ Orleans. Large yard with a magnificent maple. One note: The stairs to the three upper bedrooms are very steep (one set is more of a charming ladder) with a low rail. Worked for us, but people with mobility issues would probably need to stay downstairs. Would stay there again!

Small things made for unpleasant stay.
Adequate beds, furniture etc. No towel racks in bathrooms. Had to hang towels after showers on lamps. Light in shower did not work making it too dark to see in shower. Electric plugs not working for hairdryers and electric toothbrush in bathrooms. Stairs dangerous and not user friendly. would not reccomend

Nice house
My family of 4 plus our dog stayed for a week. The house is in a good location and has all of the amenities you could need. We enjoyed having 2 different seating areas as well as the outdoor gas fireplace. You should know the house itself is old. Many updates have been done to modernize but there are still some fundamental signs that the house was probably initially built in the 1800s. Two members of our family over 6' tall hit their heads on doorways etc. Nothing major just good to know. The only complaint is lack of a screen door/ poor border around ACs allows bugs in.

Great week
We were locked out upon arrival but within 5 minutes of calling the property manager we were all set to go. One of the upstairs twin beds broke with one of us was sleeping on it but it wasn’t a big deal. Overall great experience
