We booked this property for it's good price and central Oxford location that could accommodate a group of 8-10 for a stag do (and good cancellation policy, given numbers can fluctuate when organising for a large group where things could change and was in fact the reason we booked this over other options - Zahed was kind enough to provide a tenth bed in the living room just in case). "We had a fabulous stay here. The property is lovely and ideally positioned for easy access into Oxford. The children loved watching the tourists taking photos of the house when we were in ! The one item to note is that whilst there is an allocated parking space, in a Honda Accord it is extremely tight. You may decide to simply buy on street parking for ease instead (which we would do if we were using this property again)"

"I liked the bedroom with mini fridge tea/coffee making items. I liked the large shower and the fact it was quiet and warm. I didnt like small cups i think mugs would be better. The extractor fan in bathroom didnt work, there is a little mold around the shower tray. The bathroom floor needs grouting in parts. The garden is a big eyesore full of weeds etc not useable for anyone staying. The whole property was spotlessly clean. I had no english tea bags in my room but found some in the kitchen...

"Bedrooms lovely but tight around beds. but en-suites quite roomy. So easy for different groups to do different things in the huge barn dinning/kitchen/lounge. Our 4 and 6 aged grand sons loved the space and outdoors games. Trampoline, football, table tennis etc. Google the grinding barn for easy location guidance as 3 of our 4 cars struggled with the given directions."

"This house is beautiful and sparse. We were a group of 8 adults and the house did not feel crowded at all. Unfortunately, the BBQ shown in the garden images does not work, however this was not necessarily mentioned as an amenity in the listing. The only place this house loses points is in its cleanliness - this really was not up to standard, as mentioned in previous reviews. Shower drains were full of hair from previous visitors; multiple bedrooms had either old food, empty wine or water...

"Everything was as expected it was cosy and convenient, near several pubs and shops and just a half hour bus ride into Oxford. We also used it as a base for Bicester, the British Motor Museum and the Aston Heritage trust! So much to see in Oxford and surrounds and this is a great place to stay! Very good value for money "

"Very comfortable home. Host answered our question immediately. Everything we needed was provided and we had a very relaxing stay. Neighborhood felt very safe and was close to grocery store and bus lines. Only slight negative is it is on a very steep hill (we were made aware of this in description), would be happy to stay again."

"Manu was a great host, he was very welcoming and helpful and provided clear instructions to find the apartment, parking and how to get into the property. The property was exactly as advertised, in a great location and was spotless. Also, having tea and coffee at the property is only a small touch but has a great impact and shows Manu cares for guests. Great place and would 100% return. "

"Beautiful property and excellent hosts…we stayed in the Garden suite…the bedroom and kitchen is all together…5 minute walk into Blenheim and marvellous pubs and restaurants in Woodstock!! Oh and it’s only £2 on the bus into Oxford!!!"
