"We had a wonderful few days at the Little House as part of a longer week exploring VA and WV. The cottage was inviting and well equipped (even Band-Aids!). The property was tranquil with great water views. It was in a secluded area yet a short drive to nearby towns. We enjoyed use of the kayak, relaxing on the porch, and listening to the rain hit the roof on our last night. Rob and the neighbors are welcoming and friendly. "

We had a great time at this property - there were plenty of towels, a comfy bed, cookware, and other nice touches that made it a great getaway. "Great location. House is clean. The finishes and equipment/utensils are all high-end. The property owner is super responsive and accommodating. The long dock off the back of the property is awesome. We saw plenty of fish, crabs, birds, and porpoises during our stay. If you like crabbing and fishing and sipping wine on the water; stay here! "

"Lovely stay! Can’t be more grateful for all of the space! We enjoyed the deck and view. The downstairs area was the perfect hang out area with space for the kids to play and adults to talk. Kitchen had everything we needed and more. The water boats were a great addition the kids enjoyed in the river. Adults enjoyed taking the chairs out to the dock. A little older home, but everything seemed clean with some updates noticeable and updates in progress. We really enjoyed our time."
