"Our stay here was okay I mean we’ve been to worse places but as we arrived we were met with a hole in the floor between our 2 single beds. Then as we were going to microwave our food the microwave had mouldy food inside of it. The manager & cleaners did offer us a different room but we were settled by the time we found the food so we just stayed in our room. "We noticed on arrival a very bad smell in the kitchen - though the kitchen was not visibly dirty. We tried but did not manage to locate the source of the smell - but it put us off from cooking at the property. I did contact the property manager about this when we left. The rooms and accommodation were spacious and perfect for our stay visiting family. There was quite a lot of early morning foot fall noise from Above which woke everyone. And I dont think it was obvious from the booking site...

Surrounded by old historical buildings but close to bars and restaurants and a short walk across the river to the Glasshouse.Easy access to station and metro.Clean and tidy with thoughtful touches and a friendly host who was easy to communicate with.The kitchen could do with some more cooking utensils, but other than that it was a lovely place to stay. "Property manager forgot to send code for key safe. Managed to get it indirectly by email but no easy contact was forthcoming thereafter. Street door lock cheap and worn. Next door to lobby broken and taped up. Lobby not been cleaned for weeks. Cheap lock on door to apartment. Security practically non existent. Six windows (2 in living room,2 in each bedroom) screwed shut.Not safe , awaiting replacement. Only window that opened for ventilation in kitchen.If open possible to step directly into...

"If you are going to Newcastle, just book this place. Its 5 min walk from the station and so central for the nightlife. Great pub underneath and food options everywhere. The apartment was clean and well laid out, the communication from Gary was spot on. Dont think, just book it."
