Lovely home
Friends trip to Dahlonega for a cycling weekend. We all loved this spacious and tastefully decorated home. It felt like home immediately! We were arriving just after the hurricane had blown past and our hosts had graciously checked in on the property before our arrival to insure everything remained in good shape and kept us informed. The home is close to downtown but is truly secluded, quiet and private. Do be aware that there is one short steep pitch on the gravel drive that one of our cars struggled with a bit when wet. No biggie. We would gladly return - and hope and expect to do so.

Weekend getaway
Me and my wife had an awesome time in The North Georgia Mountains and our stay in the swag house was amazing. Very secluded and beautiful with deer eating in the front lawn and hummingbirds playing around the feeder on the porch and the house is Beautiful. Helen Christmas visit
We booked this home for our family of 7 during our first time at the Helen Georgia Christmas festival. With 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths (plus an extra shower in the laundry) it was more than adequate for us. The property is beautiful with no neighbors in sight. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of space to spread out. It's about 30 minutes or so from Helen with a tavern type bar about halfway in between that had good food. All of the beds are upstairs but there are a couple of settee chairs and a couch in the living room that can be used for sleeping too. The setting is beautiful and the home well maintained. We even saw multiple deer while there! Couldn't have asked for a nicer place or better owners. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Mountain View Vacation
Lovely, well cared for property. We saw cardinals, deer, rabbits, and fireflies on our visit. Plenty of room for family to stretch out and relax after daily outings to Helen, hiking, gold mine tour, kayaking.

Great house!
House met all of our needs for a family wedding weekend! Was glad to have a truck, as the driveway is long, bumpy, steep in parts and gravel. I would stay here again when traveling to Dahlonega. Many great winery’s in the surrounding area!

Perfect location for long weekend in Dahlonega
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this house - we have stayed in the area many times over the past 20 years and this was our favorite place we have stayed! The location was perfect to visit local wineries and the square, and this property and the grounds were just beautiful! Very peaceful snd relaxing place to stay!

Beautiful location away from the traffic noise of even gold rush days while still being a 10 minute drive from the dahlonega town square. Vast property with many locations to take in the forest views and tranquility. Beautiful and comfortable accommodations inside and out. So grateful to have prepared for my wedding in a house as beautiful as this

Peaceful, natural beauty
Our group of ladies really enjoyed staying here. There was plenty of room, the house was well provisioned and it was so peaceful and beautiful. Coffee with red headed woodpeckers and wild turkeys, and countless song birds. The house is away from the noise of town but close to everywhere we wanted to go. It’s a real slice of paradise.

Loved the decor and condition of property. Hard to believe it was built there, much less being so nice. Very quiet and isolated. Wish we could have spent a few more days. If you go, you won't be disappointed. Just be sure you have some decent ground clearance on your car...my Honda Civic scraped a couple times, but we managed. :)

Superb stay
The property was a real showplace. Much attention to detail. Called the owner and thanked him and his family to allow us to stay. Convenient to town. A great place for families with diversity of interests and desire to also spend a great time together. Outdoors options for hiking, small town discover, and university offered a great plus. We did not need to talk with property manager but there were options for help availability posted prominently.
