"We had a lovely time at this property. Very cute cabin feel, perfect for the fall. We were in town for a wedding at Pats Peak and were able to walk to the venue. The host had a fire going for us when we arrived and the cabin was peak coziness! As other reviews mentioned the hosts house is right there but it still felt private. Thanks for a great stay! "

"Wonderful stay in this beautiful historic property. Lynn greeted us at check in and gave us the full run down of the property and set the tone for a great long weekend away. Reliable wifi and a TV with all the apps if you're looking to stay connected and plenty of opportunities to disconnect with trails starting right out the front door, a fire pit, and books and games to take advantage of. Close to so many activities in the area but far enough away to enjoy total solitude as well."

"Overall a great stay - had plenty of bedrooms, everything we needed for our stay, and was perfectly quirky. The place wasn't perfectly clean, but it was also tough for a place that big. Some of the light switches also didn't work, but those are minor quibbles, it was a great stay."

"My husband and I invited our wedding party to stay at NHMI with us for the weekend of our wedding! We got married at Ragged Mountain and this inn was a perfect spot for our wedding party to get ready/ hangout after the wedding! The inn was extremely clean and charming with views that will take your breath away. Perfect weekend! "

"Beautiful leaves in reds, oranges, and yellows reflected in a gorgeous pond with a pair of loons slowly floating by....Perfection! What a gorgeous location! We had a great stay- the kitchen was wonderful to cook in- we loved the gas stove- bacon tasted so delicious with croissants in the morning! "The hosts were extremely communicative and beyond helpful for our stay. We let them know that we were staying and planning on using the VRBO for getting ready for my wedding on the weekend. I appreciate their communication and the layout of the home. Their directions and tips were very helpful and made the stay very helpful. "The cottage was as described and shown in the listing. On our first day we had issues with heat (both hot water and heating) but John was more than accommodating and had us shifted to another cottage immediately and he in fact bought us lunch for the inconvenience (thank you John!). Our second day of stay was perfect without issues. They have a private beach with boats which you can use. I would recommend booking with them directly."
