"Excellent. It felt like home! "

"We’ve been coming to Lake Gaston for many many years but this was a first at this house. It was by far the most beautiful and comfortable house we have ever rented. House was very well stocked for cooking. Plenty of space for storage and lounging. Our only complaint was the water space off the dock was pretty overrun by grass and weeds. We easily rectified that by going out on a pontoon for our swims. Hopefully we will be able to stay in this wonderful home again. Thank you for having us!!"

"Although a short stay, we absolutely loved this property!! The house was beautiful and the property was amazing! We rented the pontoon boat as well and had a wonderful time! It was especially nice sitting out by the water with the firepit at night! Would definitely recommend staying here."

"We had so much fun at this house. Probably one of our best vacations! The house was perfect for our needs. It has a shallow area great for kids but also deep enough at the dock to jump in. The shallow swimming area is shaded in the afternoon which saved us (heatwave that week). The kitchen was well stocked and we cooked there most nights. We even caught some decent size fish from the dock. We truly had a great time!"

"Just spent another amazing week at Tropical Paradise with friends and family. The location is perfect being close to Washburns marina for the younger kids daily milkshake runs and off the main lake just enough to float all day peacefully! The game room and loft area is perfect for kids ranging from 6-26 and never feels overcrowded. The owner is amazing and checks in frequently to make sure all is well. We are already planning next summers trip to Tropical Paradise again! "

"The house was great! It was very spacious for the 10 of us and very clean! The game was a great bonus that everyone had so much fun with. The boat dock was great for kayaking and tubing. The creek was so peaceful to kayak on. We rented a boat for one of the days at a near by marina and had an awesome day on Lake Gaston tubing and swimming. "Our family stayed here for a week and loved the house. Everything about it was great, house had everything we needed as far as kitchen, entertainment etc. we brought our boat and tied up to the dock with no issues, private cove in a no wake zone which was very nice. The house layout was also perfect for a large blended family. Jim was easy to communicate with and would stay here again. "

"I had an amazing experience at this Slice of Heaven. The neighborhood is very quiet and serene. The house is extremely inviting and comfortable with lots of extra touches from the hosts. I slept like a baby and enjoyed watching the sunset and sunrise on the screened back porch overlooking the lake. The view was unforgettable and breathtaking. I wish I could have stayed longer.This will be my preferred home any time I'm in the area!"
