We absolutely loved our stay at the Glass House! The main living area was even larger than the photos suggest, and the minimalist, open style of the home made everything feel spacious, bright, and perfectly clean. The bedrooms were private and incredibly comfortable—a wonderful retreat after long days on the water.The house itself was quite the attraction; we often noticed boaters slowing down just to get a closer look. The dock was a highlight of our trip—peaceful and tranquil in the early mornings, then lively throughout the day with swimming, paddle boarding, floating, and fishing. In the evening, we enjoyed reading, relaxing, and toasting marshmallows. Andrew and Anna were wonderful host and were attentive before, during, and after our stay. They shared helpful information about boat rentals (note: delivery to the dock is only available for 3 day rentals). We ended up renting a pontoon and had an amazing day exploring the big lake, including a stop at Grandma’s Island for a picnic and a swim. For something truly special, I highly recommend an early morning kayak trip to the cove on Lizard Creek—you’ll find a breathtaking lily pad garden waiting for you. The location on the water was an ideal mix of entertaining boating activity and so quiet you’d think you had the water to yourself. This home is the perfect combination of style, comfort, and lakefront fun. We can’t wait to return!
