"A last minute booking at this small out of the way historic inn. It was busy at the bar where we checked in so a short wait. Room was basic but well appointed, bed super comfy, shower was hot, tea and coffee in room. Self serve continental breakfast in a dining room was great. Food in the restaurant was amazing and beautifully presented. Set in a small town with adjoining farmland. Close the Hampton Court Castle and gardens."

"This Inn is not quite everything it was built up to be in previous reviews but still a good value choice. Location-wise it is well situated for access to the surrounding towns, particularly Hereford, though one should note that it sits right on the main road and this does lead to quite some road noise until late at night and from early in the morning. "Lovely, well equipped property in beautiful, peaceful location, but only short drive to pubs for good food and nearby Monmouth - lovely town with great selection of supermarkets and individual shops and eateries. Beware the 2 speed bumps on your final approach to the property. Would definitely stay here again. "
