This is hands down one of the best places I've ever had the pleasure of staying. The property is a beautiful ranch on 200 some acres, tucked into a mountain bowl of evergreen trees. It backs up onto a Montana sized creek and the sound of the crystal clear water trickling over the green, purple, and blue rocks can be heard from the cabin when the surrounding world is quiet - which was almost all the time during our stay. The cabin itself is as pictured, cozy with very thoughtful amenities and a comfy bed. My spouse and I stayed with our dog Whisky who probably enjoyed this place more than us. I've never seen her happier.
The cabin is about 300 yards from a large restored barn that I believe functions as another rental property. There are also two places for RVs to park nearby and some of the outdoor amenities (fire pit, bathroom, etc) are shared. The property was empty during our trip so we had run of the place, but even at full capacity it is all laid out so perfectly that it'd be hard to imagine ever feeling like you didn't have lots of privacy if you wanted it. Lastly, if you're inclined for cold water swimming there is a great swimming hole on site, and they have several horses you can ride along the fire roads with a guide for an additional fee.
I couldn't recommend this host or property more highly. We absolutely loved this place and will be back, hopefully very soon and with a bunch of friends. Meegan, you are wonderful, thank you for your hospitality and for creating such a unique experience.
