Good stay at the right price

When you check in, make sure that everything works. If something does not function, just ask for a different room. At this hotel, they do not fix any reported problems. Our shower had more than half of the water flow going straight down into the drain, instead of coming through the overhead spout. After reminding the service people 3 times, we just gave up. They were rigorously working on getting the swimming pool ready. All in all, this hotel is a decent place to stay, especially if you have kids. There's plenty of space for children to run around. Also, everything you need is real close by. They have a fairly large reception area, where you can just sit and relax, if you get bored staying in your room. The breakfast is just okay - nothing special.

In a good location- challenging moment for them.

The hotel was fine for the price. Convienent to food & shopping. Not too far to hiking areas. Unfortunately, the pool & ice machine were being repaired. Our visit was during a heat wave. I thought the continental breakfast could have been a little better with some fruit. Overall I would personally stay again. Staff was pleasant & accommadating.

Quality was expected considering price for room. Surprised that pool was closed for maintenance in late June. Make sure to call ahead if you are expecting to use the pool.

Pool Not Operating-Not informed

The front desk person was great- "Southern Hospitality". The room was what I expected for the cost. The location was great - a lot going on in the little town, even a very nice walking park at the library down the street. We were disappointed that the pool was out of commission - totally drained and being worked on replacing fiberglass, etc. Temps were in the 90s and a cool dip in the pool would have been nice. We were not informed that the pool was inoperable until we saw the sign that said "Closed For Season".

Worst Hotel Stay Ever!

It was awful! We got there at 6pm to stay just one night. We went to bed early (9pm) because we had an early morning as well as a 2 year old. We were waken up at 10pm with very loud music and people yelling. This lasted until 2:30am when our alarm clock was set for 5am. We did not feel safe at all. We will never stay in this hotel again or even this city. Such a waste of our money, no one even apologized for our stay! DO NOT STAY HERE!

Was told had washer/dryers in rooms. Did not have them in rooms there was one set on 2nd floor. Beds were very uncomfortible. Lights did not work correctly. No pool.

We had NO HBO even though the Hotel advertise HBO / Could not get internet unless you went to the lobby/ Some electric outlets didn't work/We had no Maid service on our first day and dirty towels were not replace and we had to go to the lobby to get fresh towels. Won't stay there again.

Would not recommend this hotel

Could not get wifi in my room as advertised and they locked up the main doors at 11pm so no where to go to get wifi did not offer to move my room also did not get HBO as advertised. Found staff to not be very helpful Would not recommend this hotel to any one needing wifi connection or wanting tv Also very noisy on the weekend people yelling at 2am and 3am in the morning.

I booked this hotel because it was the cheapest one, I thought that it was gonna be bad because of the pictures, but it was actually pretty good. Our room was small, one double bed, we didnt need much space, it was clean and the bathroom was good. I liked because for the price you get something good. Anyway, we were staying there as an overnight, so of course... we didnt need a fancy hotel.

Very friendly people

The front desk person was very helpful and friendly and checked us in promptly. Its a great place to stay since its less expensive to stay in the higher elevations of the smoky mountain and once can get to grandfather mountain within 30-40min from the hotel. The room was clean with fridge and microwave.

Our room was clean. The mattress was not so good. You could feel the springs in it. It did not appear to have a pillow top mattress as advertised. Good room for the price.
