"Overall, the cabin was very clean and well stocked and with extensive directions were provided, however use of the TV could have been better. TV wifi kept going out. Because of rainy weather driveway was a challenge but it all worked out. We would visit again maybe in early summer."

"Had a wonderful time on our short stay. Got some good walks in, saw a bunch of turkeys and enjoyed the solitude. Enjoyed a nice drive to Wardensville then up Winchester. Also had a fun dinner in Strasburg at the Old Dominion Doggery and Burger Shoppe. Highly recommend the cabin."

"I enjoyed every peaceful moment I was there! Living near, and working in a big city is loud and stressful. This was just what the Dr. ordered! Beautiful home in a beautiful setting with great amenities. Loved the lower level deck and propane fire pit that was ready to use! My older dog had a few problems traversing the steps but he loved being there as well!!! Already booked another stay! "

"We all loved it! The trails are fun, and down at the river we had a ball! The beds were comfy. Fun at the Pool Table.The downstairs was great! The Hot Tub was a hit. Loved the whole place! Could use a couple extra outlets in the kitchen. The bathroom in the loft needs a light ."

"We had a very nice stay at this cute cabin. Loved the access to the trail right at the house. We found lots of trails to hike and even forged a small stream! Cabin was very nice and very eclectic. Nice front porch and swing. It was just what we needed for a short get away. It's definitely worth a stay! "

"This was the most perfect place to stay. The entire home was incredibly clean and had everything we needed. The view is stunning, and the outlook was a perfect place to watch the sunrise. "This is our second time staying at The Outlook this year. As before we were greeted by deer on the property. They didn't seem bothered by us at all. The cabin was sparkling clean and linens and towels were made up and ready. The view across the valley was wonderful with the trees changing into their fall colors. "We were extremely impressed with Lost River Luxury Cabin! It exceeded our expectations! The house had every amenity you could need. We loved having the fire wood stacked outside our door ready for a cozy evening sitting on a huge comfortable learner couch in front of the crackling flames. They even had an extended utensil to toast marshmallows for some Smores! The interior was decorated very tastefully and the construction is superb! "Great place to get away for a few days. Super clean. Beautiful view and a great little creek back behind it. Excellent kitchen, well-stocked and in the center of things. It would have been so much better if the fireplace was not broken. The big beautiful stone hearth was the main reason we got the place and it seemed so cold and dark without a fire and made being inside at night a little depressing. But if they get that fixed, we’ll definitely go back. It was a great location and a great cabin....
