Everything was perfect!
Amazing stay. House had everything you could ask for and more. Owner has fabulous style and the beds were some of the most comfortable we have ever slept in. Awesome location so close to town and wonderful wine shop and bbq across the street. Great house for staying in and cooking and relaxing. 5 star amenities! We will definitely be back.

Coziest Art Chalet
I booked a last minute weekend getaway to Highlands for my family (2 adults and our 6 month old). I must say this is one of the neatest places we have rented. It reminded me a Swiss Chalet but the local artist paintings also gave it southern charm. I loved how all of the art on the walls was for sale. Such a cool idea! The space was perfect for our small family. The master bed was super comfortable, nice linens, and super stylish. Everything was VERY clean 10/10 and lots of extra amenities like body wash, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, candles!, bar accessories, vinyl record player with lots of albums, etc. etc. The house is off the main road leading into Highlands so we didn't walk to town because we had a stroller, but was only a short drive. We love the Highlands so much and would definitely book the art chalet again! Thank you, Missy!

Perfect Little Chalet
What a lovely Chalet! This was a perfect spot for a little get away for the weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor fireplace and all of the outside lounging areas. There were only two of us, so as far as the beds go I can only comment on the mater bed. Slept great and was very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and we had everything we needed for grilling out on the gas grill. What a great place in a convenient location. Would highly recommend! Thanks Missy for sharing your quaint little Chalet! I will definitely book again in the future!

My husband & I went for a quick trip to Highlands. This VRBO is in a great location, very easy drive to town, would not suggest walking though. LOVED the artwork and interior design & special touches. I felt like I was in a treehouse, so fun!!

So cute!
Loved our stay at this cute little property! Just a couple minutes to town and to a few short, easy trails. Just a heads up, this house is RIGHT on a pretty busy road so it can be a little loud and wouldn’t be great with quick moving toddlers, and the parking is a small space. But still excellent for an adorable little cottage in the mountains!

Minutes From Downtown Highlands
Very cozy inside and stays warm with the fireplace on level 3 and level 3. Comfy bed and loved the record player and vinyl record collection. Only a 3 minute drive to downtown Highlands which was the reason we booked it. Property Manager was easy to reach and replied instantly.

Sisters weekend
My sisters and I had a wonderful time. The cottage was adorable and had everything we needed. It was a slice of heaven in the trees. The art was so beautiful too. It was close to town but also enjoyed just relaxing around the house. Can’t wait to go back.

This place was super cool and very comfortable. Many thoughtful touches to make for a seamless stay. Would highly recommend, especially if you like staying in a small art gallery. Close (but not quite) walkable to downtown (because no sidewalks), and easy access to local trails. Lovely place and easy communication with owner.

Weekend Getaway
We cannot say enough about our stay at the chalet. Our hostess, the decor, the location were absolutely perfect for a weekend to relax. Everything we needed was provided for and made our stay easy and simple. Every window had a view that made you feel as if you were tucked away in the woods but it was only a 2 minute drive into town. Perfect Mountain Chalet in Excellent Location
The owner of this ArtChalet has made every effort to provide a warm, inviting, tastefully decorated, and fully stocked accommodation that is nestled in a beautiful setting just steps away from the main road into town. The appliances and kitchen gear were beautiful, functional, and made home cooked meals a breeze. Having a laundry room was great! Every detail was lovingly curated for a wonderful home away from home vacation. Plus, there are many wonderful contemporary acrylic paintings hung on the walls that are lively and inspiring to view or purchase!

Hidden gem in Highlands!
This was the perfect place for me and the hubby. We wanted a quick getaway to a new location and Highlands was it! This house fit us perfectly! Very clean, stylish, love the location, even saw deer come through the property in the late afternoons. We came in on a Friday afternoon so we hopped across the street to the BBQ joint for dinner and a drink. We ended up sitting at the bar bc it’s full service there. Food and bartender were wonderful! Missy was a wonderful hostess telling us all the hotspots for dining and hiking. We’ll def be back!
